Jets are very happy to wlecome OJ Atogwe to the fold. Atogwe completes a very stout starting back 4 on the defense joining Derelle Revis, Lito Shepard and Jim Leonard. GM JMHPhin was questioned about the signing, he stated while negotiations were tough, there was competition for OJ's services to the end, and the cost high, the end result makes the Jets that much better at FS.
Bears would like to welcome a total STEAL in Evan Mathis to complete the interior of the Bears O-line. When reached for comment, Bears GM Sec. 126 said: "he was our #1 target, we felt that he would be the best value in this O-line group, and we feel like we got ourselves a pro bowl performer at a bargain basement price, quite frankly, we could not be happier with the interior of our offensive line, and I know Steven Jackson feels the same way as well."
I was going to bid on him this morning but I saw when you bid on him and was like "nah, I would feel bad."
Yeah..he was the first guy I bid on at midnight and then bid him up to the next morning...I was shocked when the bidding died at 1.25.
Okay, we are very very happy that we have resigned Chike Okeafor to a MUCH reduced contract. He will be key in helping newly aquired Adalious Thomas setting the edge.
Bears are happy to announce the addition of Kevin Burnett to play the Mike/Will in our defensive system.
The New England Patriots would like to welcome OLB Joey Porter. With the Patriots able to offer Porter a starting role, they feel that he will fulfill this position playing with a chip on his shoulder after the 2009 season with the Dolphins.
Cardinals new Defensive CoOrdinator is ESTATIC to be reunited with linebacker Mike Vrabel. He aknowledges that Mike adds a very important flexibility to a revamped unit and in addition will be able to teach some of the very unorthodox philosophies Pees is known for.
The Steelers would like to officially welcome FB Tony Richardson, WR Nate Burleson, and TE Donald Lee. That's 3 players with starting ability that cost a grand total of $1.2 million. Though up there in age, Richardson is still one of the best fullbacks in football making All-Pro as recent as 2007. Burleson very quietly put up over 800 yards in 12 games last year in Seattle. Lee is a solid pass catching TE who could start if needed.
Browns welcome Defensive standouts Kyle Vanden Bosch and Shawn Merriman. Welcome gentleman HGH is on your right.
The KC Chiefs would LOVE to welcome the following players to our team: Anthony Adams- 300k NT; Michael Johnson 300k FS; Nate Jones 500k CB; Ben Leber 300k ILB/OLB We are glad to announce that these players will all fill a crutial role in our rotations.... As of now, Anthony Adams is our starting NT..... Nate Jones can step in as our NCB and immediately contribute... Michael Johnson, after a solid season in NY, will fulfill our rotation at FS... He will give Michael Griffin a break at time and we will not be worried about getting torched. Johnson has an excellent nose for reading the QB. Ben Leber is the perfect rotational LB on running downs and a crafty vet at that.
I basically traded Winfield for Campbell, Nate Jones, Anthony Adams, Michael Johnson, and Ben Leber and a 5th AND still saved 200k
The lions announce the following signatures Howard Green Khalif Barnes Orlando Pace Desmond Clark Pierre Woods Brandon Chillar Scott Fujita
The Patriots would like to welcome Jarvis Green back to New England. Green will join a three man rotation at defense end between Johnny Jolly and Ty Warren. With Vince Wilfork returning as well, the Patriots look to return to form in 2010. Also joining New England is former Falcons running back Jason Snelling. Snelling ran for over 600 yards last season averaging 4.3 yards per carry. Snelling looks to play next to Jonathan Stewart, providing the Patriots with some extremely young and powerful running backs.
