I figured Rolle would sign with Jersey A. Looks like they're close. I'll have major respect for the regime if they get Dansby on the first stop.

 

Who else thinks its a good sign that we haven't heard anything yet? If he was going somwhere else, I doubt the visit would be this long

 

I hope so. We have to land one of these guys. It is becoming apparent that Dansby is the guy they really want. Make it happen!

 

I guess I can find some happiness that the flushed Akin, Popcorn Porter, Gerbil to clear up room for Dansby. I guess even if we don't sign him our D just got better.

Sorry gotta disagree on Grove before we got him he averaged 30% of each season on the sideline injured. This year he was out 5.5 games, Smiley the jury is still out but he wasn't cheap.

If we can't sign Dansby then we need to poison pill Atogwe and go LB in april with three of our first four picks with a NT rounding out the bunch, and hope like hell that we strike gold.

 

You know what...I'll bet a deal is imminent. I'll bet right about now Pareclls & Company, Dansby and his agent are all having dinner at some swanky restaurant on SoBe (probably that stone crab place), and they're just hashing out all the details. Matter of fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that Fergie, J Lo and the Williams sisters are all there too. I'm envisioning a conversion that might go something like this:

Dansby's agent: You know, my guy here is the premiere LB in this year's FA market. He will command top dollar.

Parcells: You know, we have quite a few "premiere players" that want to play for The Miami Dolphins. But, we can only carry 53. [he winks as small glimpse of his pearly whites peers through an ever so slight smile towards the agent].

Sports 620 KTAR's John Gambadoro reports free-agent LB Karlos Dansby (Cardinals) has signed a five-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
