Yes but BM pretty much makes every team a lot better. Pats? Vikings I could even see. Not saying they are involved but just imagine BM on those teams. Hell, even the Bills would be instantly a dangerous team on sundays.

I see your point, but how many games last year did BM won by himself? I agree he makes the team better, but how much? T.O. did a good job with the Bills, well sometimes haha, he made them better. How many games would they have won if he wasn't there? About the same, someone else would have stepped in somehow.

Could cut loose welker.(who knows how well he will play anymore) With Moss/BM and Edellman could be good while also adding a WR in the draft.

Man, My post count skyrocketed today with this rumor buzz.

Brady will never break the bank the way Peyton Manning has. He willingly takes less money so the Patriots can sign higher-quality free agents and retain their good players.

You're forgetting the Broncos coach was Belichick's coffee maker about five years ago....why would he help Beli out or even talk to the Patsies? :shifty:

and why is that...freaking always with the pats...everybody always takes the discount.....although this is Brady's last crack at a good contract, I doubt he will take much less...

Because Brady is more interested in winning than in making a few extra million dollars. He's already made more than enough money to keep his great-grandkids set for life, plus he's married to a supermodel who brings a good amount of cash into the equation as well.

The way Brady sees it, he still has 7 empty fingers.

I was agreeing with you...I see it first hand up here, alot of them did, but that when they were SB contenders, the same cant be said anymore, still good, but 3 years ago good...ehhhhh.....

also the union isnt letting a premier QB take a below market value contract....without putting major pressure on him...however Brady is brash enough to tell them to screw as well...

Yeah, they're probably not serious Super Bowl contenders any longer, but that can change if their pass defense wakes up. Brady still has three or four good years of play left in him, too.

Pretty sure Tom Brady doesn't care what the NFLPA says about his contract.

Okay, enough talking about the Patsies. Back to Brandon Marshall.

I am off to bed. I will monitor the Bronco's flagship station in Denver (KOA 850) for any news tomorrow. Dave Logan, the Broncos announcer, usually is on in the afternoon drive and usually has Adam Shefter on whenever there are Bronco trade rumors. You can listen to this station online as well. Hopefully Santa will bring us a nice gift tomorrow.

The scenario you just posted is the best case scenario for the Dolphins. Miami should not trade for that piece of scum Brandon Marshall, and I hope Bryant is off the board so they don't pick him. If they trade anything of value for Brandon Marshall, then they might as well sign Terrell Owens. They are two of a kind, but Marshall is worse with his off the field issues. The guy will come in and tear this locker room apart. Hopefully, if they make that deal, Jeff Ireland will be fired once Marshall rips the locker room in two.

if we do get him just cross your fingers the guy grows up. parcells has a way of reaching certain troubling personalities. Dont know if he can get Marshall to behave but if anyone can it will be parcells

Are you finally admitting that Jeff Ireland, not Bill Parcells, is the person building this roster?

nah but he'll be the fall guy  ireland will get a chance to build this team when parcells leaves. until then he'll just magically agree to all of bill's "suggestions"

why rock the boat when the boat will be yours in a year or two

Parcells isn't coaching the team though, so the onus is on Tony Sparano. I think Brandon Marshall will probably kill Tony's head coaching career. I can see Tony looking at Jeff and Bill after this trade and asking "What in the crap are you trying to do to me?"

Once scum, always scum. Brandon Marshall isn't going to change, especially when he gets that big contract he wants.

Common misconception is someone can't change. Someone can change. Look at Ricky, he was a pot head, and now what is he? Chris Henry was a troubled player, he fixed his life. There are two really good example, but of course you have your bad ones, look at Pac-man lol.

I wonder if this is possible....

    Seattle offering their 2nd round.

Miami offering 3rd round and Ginn.

I don't believe we will offer 2nd round and Ginn. Our "trio" value picks more than gold digger values gold.

This is the issue and why no one has traded for him yet. If he had a few years left on a cheap deal someone would have taken a chance on him. Its kind of strange that no one here seems to even question the thought of giving a guy with his track record a huge contract up front, seems like everyone thinks its a given that when he gets 20 million guaranteed up front he's going to fly right.....big, BIG risk in trading for him. We could have a guy thats either making a huge paycheck and being a problem in the locker room or a guy thats unhappy because he hasn't gotten his big payday yet....there are a lot of concerns with this guy. I'm not as opposed to it as you are but I wouldn't sniff the guy if he wouldn't let me put conditions on his contract.

Lol..was waiting for you to chime in.....KB....if it happens it happens....

Just promise you wont give up channeling Fishy Pete when it comes to WR's or FS's....lol.

Tell me you wont cheer just a little if Brandon Marshall is a Phin and catches the winning TD in NY against the Jets....

    Just a little?

Not in the least. I will honestly consider not watching them play until Brandon Marshall and this regime is gone if they make this deal.

Eh...I know how you feel about it. But...its a business, and there are a great many fans who want to see us have a #1 WR for Henne to throw to.

How bout...just wait and see how it plays out. You know if he comes to Miami, he will be on his best behavior for the first year.....then...who knows.

I say Give Ginn one more year ( I know I know) and see what he can do now that he won't see the teams best corner or safety over the top. If he doesn't shine then move him.
