.....but unusually quiet about the new schedule. Has there been any speculation or leaks about the schedule ? The NFL is really keeping this quiet this year - what gives ? There are always a few matches that seem to trickle out before the official schedule is released.
I'm only interesed in seeing if we'll have any ealy season-1pm home games, if not I'm crying foul. Again.
I just would like to see us catch some breaks this year such as playing the Steelers earlier in the season and not opening the season with back to back games against playoff teams
I think our owner is pushing for more late games as he thinks the fans "get more into it". I think it's because they spend more money.
not to mention we have started at least 0-2 the first 2 games of the first 2 seasons of this regime. we MUST start better. i hate making comebacks later in the year. lets start good, and end good. iam tired of it!
It makes things tough, follow the team all offseason, watch preseason games, watch every draft pick, watch Sparano Traning Camp pressers, and then fall flat on our faces out of the starting gate. They should sell season tickets along with a case of Scotch or something. By the time you are finished drinking that Scotch, the Dolphins will have at least a .500 record
I agree. I remember not to long ago the Dolphins would dominate September. Then again, they crashed in December. So if a 2-4 start means a 9-1 finish, I'll take it. I'd still prefer to be at least .500 after the first 6 games.
But that doesn't make sense as I think you'd sell more beers and drinks (other than hot dogs the most profitable concession items) at a 1pm game that is in the extreme heat the whole game, rather than a 4pm start that is cooled off by the 4th.....but whatever Ross thinks I guess
But what is our Sept-Oct home 1pm record, that is the key ?......end of the season flops not-withstanding.
