NFL coaches share a legacy of burning the midnight oil

    Tony Sparano may learn the same lesson, in his first season as the Dolphins' head coach. Sparano's work ethic as an assistant was among the attributes that earned the appreciation of his mentor, Bill Parcells. At the NFL owners meetings in Palm Beach earlier this month, Sparano was asked how he would approach his responsibilities.

    "I plan to do it by spending a lot of time in the office, first of all," Sparano said.

    Good atricle, and good advice. And not just for coaches, but everyone. You can't be your best when you can't concentrate due to sleep deprivation.
