This is concerning... Rudy Gay is staying in Memphis, John Salmons is close to agreeing to terms to stay in Milwaukee, and Joe Johnson is close to agreeing to terms to stay in Atlanta. If and when LeBron decides to stay in Cleveland or go elsewhere, what the hell do we do at SF? Looking more and more like that third guy will be Haywood and we'll have a Mike Miller or Dorell Wright at the three. Not exactly my preference at all.

Milwaukee is only offering Salmons 5-years/$39 million. That's not too much, but I wouldn't jump on that because he's 31 years old. The length is too much. Forget about Joe Johnson too. He's NOT worth the max. Too bad about Rudy Gay man... that really sucks.

 

Woj says that Mike Miller will get a deal around 35-40 million, LOL! Forget him too.

Got to be. We have already sent contracts to Wade. They have to be the same, or similar.

I imagine we press for a commitment. He already met with bulls, etc., and he needs to realize that if he waits for LeBron he could get left out. He and Wade need to force the LeBron issue and if it doesn't work, here is the backup plan.

What I'm disappointed in is all of these guys signing deals before the big names are settled. What I won't be disappointed in, however, is if Chris Bosh comes out of that meeting with an agreement. This NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Today.

I stick like this idea. I've mentioned STAT/Boozer if we fail on Bosh, LBJ, JJ, Gay, etc. I don't see it happening anymore because it's looking more and more like STAT is the ego guy rather than Bosh, but I'd love to see that. STAT can play center, and as long as we're covered with a defensive minded big like a Joel Anthony and/or Ben Wallace, we'd be good.

You surround Wade/Bosh/STAT with nothing but defensive shooters and you're gold.
