W - Buffalo L - Minnesota L - NYJ W - New England BYE L - Green Bay W - Pittsburgh W - Cincinnati L - Baltimore W - Tennessee W - Chicago W - Oakland W - Cleveland L - NYJ W - Buffalo W - Detroit L - New England So I have the Dolphins going 10-6 and I am being generous to the Jets. Honestly, I can see another sweep, but Im just going to keep it that way to be fair. Just wanted to make a simple thread to make season W/L predictions. Im interested in seeing what others predict.
Too early for a prediction from me Bro, we do not know who the starting FS, OLB's, or Returners, or LG will be. I do think the Vikings game is a key sign post as the way I see it, we traded the Texans for the Vikings on the schedule, and it is in MN and they have a fierce passing attack...our largest weakness from 09.
Thanks for your predictions, but would it be ok for the season to be played and let the teams play determine and wins and losses ? I don't want us to get cocky like the Patriot and Jets fans, I say let them play and route them on in every games and hopefully into playoffs.
Nice idea for a thread, way too soon for me to give any predictions though. Will watch and see with interest what others predict. I don't see any way we get swept by the Jets. Maybe a split, but not swept. Frankly I think we sweep them again, but can't base that on any specific data or facts. Just a little "homerism" I imagine.
W - Buffalo W - Minnesota W - NYJ L - New England BYE L - Green Bay W - Pittsburgh W - Cincinnati L - Baltimore L - Tennessee W - Chicago W - Oakland W - Cleveland L - NYJ W - Buffalo W - Detroit W - New England There we go, at best i think this or maybe 1 more win will happen. But thats at best. This year i think we sweep the Bills, not the Jets or Pats.
I'm game... W - Buffalo L - Minnesota W - NYJ L - New England BYE L - Green Bay W - Pittsburgh W - Cincinnati L - Baltimore W - Tennessee W - Chicago L - Oakland W - Cleveland W - NYJ L - Buffalo W - Detroit W - New England AFC East: 1) MIA 10-6 2) NE 10-6 3) BUF 5-11 4) NYJ 0-16
I agree Minnesota will be a key game, we'd better win it. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though. The Vikes run a zone blocking scheme, they cant move people off the ball. If we can contain Peterson without having to move Bell into the box or call run blitzes, we'll be OK vs the pass. That's a big if, but the alternative is asking out DBs to cover Rice, Harvin, Berrian, and Shaincoe with only Chris Clemons to help them . Defensively, the Vikes play a Cover 2 scheme, with some Cover 3 mixed in. Williams wall or not, if you play Cover 2 vs our running game it'll be 3rd and 1-3 every time and we'll have alot of success in those spots. If we can force them to cheat a safety into the box, we'll be able to take them apart, especially out of our 3WR set. Antoine Winfield is their only decent corner, and he'll need help w/ Marshall. Cedric Griffin wont be around for the game after tearing his ACL in the NFCCG. E.J. Henderson most likely wont be ready either. Their safeties, Madieu Williams and Tyrell Johnson are awful. Bennie Sapp and Karl Paymah are liabilities as well. The Vikes rely on heavy pressure to hide the weaknesses of their secondary, so if we can give CHenne time to throw (w/o max protecting) and stay out of long yardage situations, we'll be fine. Oh, Favre may not be back to full strength either. Plus the vikes will be coming off of an emotional road game @ the Saints on kickoff weekend. Good chance for a let down vs the under the radar Fins. IMO this is one of the games we really need to win. Alot of the matchups/intangibles will be in our favor, and with the Pats, Jets, Bengals, Packers, Ravens, Steelers etc coming up afterwards, a 2-0 cushion would be very nice.

2010 Predictions: W - Buffalo L - Minnesota W - NYJ W - New England BYE W - Green Bay W - Pittsburgh W - Cincinnati L - Baltimore W - Tennessee W - Chicago W - Oakland W - Cleveland W - NYJ W - Buffalo W - Detroit W - New England
Man, those first 4 games before the bye are big, we could go anywheres from 1-3 to 4-0 in those games.
not sure yet, but see something along the lines: weeks 1-8: 4-4 or 5-3 weeks 9-16: 6-2 or better .... absolutely key is to beat BUF X 2 and go no worse than 4-2 in the DIV ! There are 4 more 'likely' wins on paper: CLE, DET, CHI, OAK to get to 8-2 ... Then there are 6 tough games: MIN, GB, BAL, CIN, PIT, TEN ... that we could split -- bringing us back to 11-5 The 1st half is dominated by pass happy teams ... which could be a challenge for the 1st month until the secondary gels. Goal is to be 3-1 and 3-0 in the DIV at the break ! That would be GREAT !
W - Buffalo - Please get real L - Minnesota - Its early we have a good shot to win W - NYJ - F tha jets they got worse we got better W - New England - NE did nothing but stay the same we almost swept them last year we will this year BYE L - Green Bay - dont like this game but we could win W - Pittsburgh - Ben will be rusty W - Cincinnati - they wont be as good as they were last year L - Baltimore - real tough game prob the toughest one on the schedule W - Tennessee - if we contain CJ2K we win W - Chicago - pressure Cutler we win W - Oakland - LMAO W - Cleveland - LMFAO W - NYJ - F THA JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W - Buffalo - no one cares about Buffalo W - Detroit - ROGLMFAO W/L - New England - If we lose a game to NE it will be this one but we will be in the playoffs so it really wont matter i guess. 12-4 or 13-3 im putting it down now we are going to beat in some heads this year it just has that diffrent feel to it that we cant be stopped.
11-5. I dont know why some of you have us losing to GB, I think that game is very winnable. 2 things that will make or break us. #1. Henne's play. #2. FS play.
I agree im still not sold on FS and now im a lil worried about NT but Henne should be lights out this year
I think we are one draft away from going all the way. In the next draft we will address the RB, FS, WR and NT position fully and really be solid. But we must give credit where it is due, it takes years to build a great team and as long as they are......I will happily wait for it. I know when we went from 1-15 to having such a great season immediately after all of our expectations have been raised, but we must be patient. High expectation is always the death of great work.
W - Buffalo L - Minnesota W - NYJ W - New England BYE W- Green Bay W - Pittsburgh L - Cincinnati W - Baltimore W - Tennessee W - Chicago W - Oakland W - Cleveland L - NYJ W - Buffalo W - Detroit L - New England REGULAR SEASON RECORD 12-4 I see us making it to the AFC Championship game.
