On QAM, had some spare time today and decided to tune in. So far it's been good, he had Henne and Long on, and gave the inside scoop on the chatter in the NFL about the Vick Bday party incident.
Which player can the Dolphins least afford to lose to injury in 2010? http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thed...phins-least-afford-to-lose-to-injury-in-2010/
Channing goes into some real depth on that interview, I'd highly recommend PhinFans listen in: http://www.wqam.com/index.php?page=347 And I sort of disagree with CC, not that BMarsh going down would be a good thing, but I do think a Hartline/Greg C/Bess/RGM Wr corps would be fine. Besides, having Bess and RGM on the field at the same time would remind me of the Marks Brothers era.
What Irvin is saying is that team sorely needed a play maker at WR.... so that they could open this offense up. Where have I heard that? Hmmmm
Maybe I did Maybe I didn't (homage to RBT) Naw, what I alluded to was we haven't started to short, quick Wr's as RGM and DBess are, since the Marks Bros days, I think it would be sorta cool to see the two of them buzzing around the field.
Clayton was the slower of the Marks and he was still faster than either Bess or RGM. As for Duper, he ran a 4.2 forty coming out of college. Other than a bit of a physical resemblance, there is no resemblance. And...even if we lost BM, we would not be starting the Hawaii pair.
I agree with CC, if Henne gets hurt we still got Penny, Thiggy and possibly White. IF BMarsh goes down, its back to mediocrity at WR. Sure Bess/Harline/Cam can be serviceable, but they won't be making defenses adjust very much.
Almost no one was / is as fast as Duper was ! 40 times are hard to legitimize I know , however RGM I think is at Clayton's foot speed. This is a link that states that , fwiw .... http://www.hawaiinews8.com/Global/story.asp?S=8212419
