Nice, now if Soliai can win that starting NT job, Wake/Starks/Odrick...Grant/Misi/Ike/whomever on that 2-4-5 and we are much further along than the Broncos were under Nolan at this time last season.
All he (Cam) needed was to add 1 maybe 2 moves to his package. The fact that our starting pro bowl left tackle has confirmed as much has me geeked.
Left Tackles of the NFL, say hello to your pass-rush nightmare!! They're gonna be saying in the huddle "Mother effer! Does this guy ever quit!?" I think offenses will truly have to gameplan to stop him this season.
Cam Wake dropped the name Derrick because it would be unfair to the offense if there were three of him.
Well this team will remember the name.... The NFL announced that starting in September, there will be no more record of sacks being kept, they will be called "Wakes".
If I didnt have to cook dinner or do laundry I could watch the Brady hit all night long. The amount of sheer power he has for his size is friggin mind boggling. Adding those extra moves should result in seeing many a Tackles eating turf after he's set them up for a massive bull rush! I cant wait!
DAMN! How fast is Yeremiah Bell? Wake. Is. Amazing. Jason was great when he was younger but watching that video and comparing the two was like watching young JT vs. old JT. Guess which one is which.
I dont think people realize how good Cam Wake was last year. In just 167 snaps according to Pro Football Focus he has 7 sacks, 20 pressures and 6 QB hits. By comparison some of the elite rushers: Demarcus Ware: 1096 snaps - 15 sacks - 19 hits - 61 pressures Julius Peppers: 806 snaps - 10 sacks - 10 hits - 33 pressures Elvis Dumervil: 880 snaps - 17 sacks - 7 hits - 31 pressures Dwight Freeney: 710 snaps - 15 sacks - 14 hits - 47 pressures. Extrapolated over 1000 snaps we could easily be looking at 15 sacks - 15 QB hits - 50+ pressures.
