    I love it......LOVE IT!!!

Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston reports that Patriots OL Nick Kaczur is in danger of missing the 2010 season due to a back injury.

Kaczur's loss would be a particularly big blow to New England's front five because he recently moved to left guard, replacing holdout LG Logan Mankins. Kaczur started at tackle in each of his previous five seasons. Reiss calls Kaczur's initial diagnosis "grim." If he doesn't play in 2010, the Pats would be down to third-string left guard Dan Connolly, who has four career starts. They might want to start thinking about paying Mankins.

You sir, are on the ball, I just read this and was about to post it.

Interesting situation, the Cheapriots treated Mankins poorly to the point they even reduced his tender offer, Mankins demanded a trade, now will the Cheapriots pony up some dough for RFA or will they stick with what they usually do, find someone else?

Like that blurb says, they have to pay Mankins if this is true....you cant go into the season with a weak OL!?!??! But Brady is saying "Not so fast" to that hahahah, nothing will probably come of it, but I love it regardless...

I'm not so sure FY, the Pats policy is not to pay holdouts...period.

If that means Jerry O'Connel starts at G, then they will start him at Guard.

Don't like seeing people injured (usually) but anything that weakens the Patriots front line so that our defensive wolves can feast on Brady is a good thing.

you are right Pads, and thats fine, but good luck with that.....considering you have a not so mobile QB, there comes a time when reality offsets your philosophy, this may be one of those time.......

I can see Nolan devising schemes already on that side of the line....:tongue2:

What ever do you mean? It's not like we have DT/DE's who can crash through that gap and cause havoc...right? :shifty:
