I really doubt they split TDs. I really don't see Haley adding TJ to not take the GL role. Esp since JC is still coming off that shoulder surgery.

Shaub was the steal that makes your team over the top.

Well, in Jamaal Charles' last 8 games he had about 1000 yards rushing and 7 TDs. I just think it will be hard to keep that kid off of the field.

EDIT: Week 17 last game of the season for the Chiefs he rushed for 259 yards on 25 carries. :)

I know but that doesn't mean he's a lock to do it again. Esp not the TDs.

Eh...nothing is a lock really. I just don't see how Charles doesn't get 1000+ yards rushing if he stays healthy.

These are the only other players I would have drafted there that I might regret not getting on my team:

Ronnie Brown - drafted 3 picks after Charles.

Antonio Gates - drafted 2 picks aftrer Charles, I got Winslow in the 7th.

Matt Forte - drafted 6 picks after Charles.

And that's it. I could have drafted Jason Witten or Vernon Davis there, but I like Winslow this year.

Eh can't argue much over who else was there, Gates maybe but certainly not by much.

I agree with JC rushing for 1k, but the TDs are a crapshoot. He's going to need to score from outside the 15-20, imo.

    /agree

We also get .1 for every 1 yards rush/rec.

11 yards would get 1.1 points, 19 yards would get 1.9 points, etc.

I know my depth sucks. I had to use autodraft and I could only set my rankings so far. i'll be churning my roster over the next few weeks to snatch up some surprise players.

You're really depending a lot on Kolb and your RBs. Both should be ok, but not studs.

I'd def start Knox over Meachem too.

I think Knox is the Chicago WR everyone is wondering of the three that will breakout....

I got Ronnie late in my league also because we as Dolphins fans KNOW how good he is when healthy so IF he plays 15-16 games we got a top 6 fantasy back in the middle rounds.

Since my draft I have had Santonio Holmes and possibly TJ fall into my lap off of waivers. If I dont get TJ I have Mike Williams from Sea.

Have to tell you the Spiller pick is looking real good right now IMO.

My team in that league is better. :shifty:

Though in all seriousness, I think your depth is a little shaky, especially at WR. Love your starting RBs, though.

If Forte and Harrison pan out you'll make the playoffs.

In the Yahoo league, yes. In the NFL.com league, your bench is pretty good all things considered. A good mix of upside and steady production, as contrasted with my boom-or-bust bench in that league.

Bush , Portis, Cadillac, and Forsett were next four RBs taken

T.Owens, Crabtree, Mike Wallace, and Meecham were the next four WRs taken.

I think that is a solid team but you may be a little thin at running back. Maybe get a solid RB with DeSean Jackson and use Berrian in his place since he should be a main target.

Agreed. We decided to grab one of the last unkept elite WRs with our first pick (10th pick). We couldn't decide between Roddy White or Desean Jackson. Went with Roddy and were shocked to see Desean Jackson staring us in the face with our next pick after the two teams behind us passed on him. All RBs in our first tier were gone and the 2nd tier is huge, IMO, so we stacked up on WRs. We'll probably see how Kolb and Stafford do and decide whether we should trade one of our WRs for a better QB or a better RB. If Ahmad truly is the new starter in NY and Addai hangs onto the starting job with the Colts, we might be ok.

Kolb plays in Philly. I'm fairly certain he'll be a rock solid FF QB for years.

You might want to look on the waiver wire for some "gamble" RBs. There's quite a lot this season.

By the way, I wouldn't touch Stephen Jackson with a pole this season ;)

About Kolb - I hope you're right!

About waiver wire - Problem with that, and I should have mentioned we have roster restrictions in our league. Always have to have 2QBs, 4 RBs, 6WRs, etc. So there's really nobody on waivers that would be worth it to drop one of the guys we drafted. At least not yet anyway...

About Steven Jackson - We are also worried this might be the year the wheels fall off. But we're hoping Bradford can add a little respectability to their passing game and he'll produce and stay healthy. I'm almost certain this will be the last year we keep him.

First League 10 man. (already posted)
    QB: Tony Romo, Kevin Kolb
RB: Adrian Peterson, Ryan Grant, Shonn Greene
WR: Anquan Boldin, Wes Welker, Hakeem Nicks, Mike Wallace, Devery Henderson, Devin Aromashodu, Eddie Royal
    TE: Kevin Winslow, Zach Miller
    DST: Vikings
    K: Dan Carpenter

2nd league 12 teams which was auto drafted because I was working during the draft. I'm not too thrilled with my WR's and need more depth at RB.

    QB: Romo, Kolb
WR: Marshall, Bowe, Crabtree, Maclin, Aromashodu
    RB: MJD, Green, Ricky
    TE: Finley, Miller(oak)
    K: Gostkowski, Tynes
    D: Vikes

    3rd League 12 teams:
One of my best teams imo. Tried to do the Bye stacking "strategy"

    QB: Eli, Henne
RB: Turner, Moreno, Harrison, Moore, Maroney
WR: Wayne, Roddy White, Mike Williams (Sea), Sydney Rice
    TE: Dallas Clark
    D: Packers, Giants
    K: Keading

4th and Final League 12 teams:
    QB: Brees, Kolb
RB: Ryan Grant, Beanie Wells, Ronnie, Westbrook, Kevin Smith
WR: Boldin, Sims-walker, Aromashodu, Meachem, Gaffney
    TE: Witten, Miller(pit)
    K: Carpenter
    D: Vikes

I'm really banking on Kolb as a solid backup and the Vikings D this year.

Add Rice and Heap to that list and he's prob a 5th option.

My first FF league ever. I didn't research, nor did I pay attention during the draft (I was grilling steaks). I wish I did more research on the RB/WR positions, but I didn't. Oh well.

    12 Teams.
    QB - Romo, Henne
RB - Chris Johnson, CJ Spiller, Slaton (I know), Michael Bush (after his injury I think he's decent), Donald Brown (who?)
WR - Wayne, Hakeem Nicks, Johnny Knox, Kenny Britt, Anthony Gonzales, Brian Hartline (nobody even knew about him, it was my last pick, so why not)
    TE - Witten, Carlson.

What do you guys think? Got some stinkers in there eh? Maybe need a gamble RB?

I'm starting top two on the RBs and WRs. We are allowed one wild card which can be RB/Wr. Right now I have Knox in there. But I can't decide whether to throw Britt in there, or Maybe Brian Hartline?

You might be alright with Spiller for at least a few weeks. Knox is the right flex.

Team looks solid otherwise. Ya, I'd take a look on your WW for other RBs too.

Good RBs, but with only 10 teams you should have been able to do much better than that on WRs. No backup QB? If I were you I'd look to trade one of your RBs for top WR.

My RB's are that strong after S. Jackson, think I need to pull a trade for one more quality starter, I like Hightower, but unsure how many carries he gets with Beanie Wells there as well.

Only 15 rounds and 10 teams? There has to be a better RB on your waivers than Jason Snelling. I don't even think he got drafted in the Phins 25 round, 20 team draft. I could see maybe the handcuff if you had Turner, but I'd go scour the waivers for a guy who can start or at least get carries now.

In a 10 team league, you're in some trouble.

Ricky and Hightower are far from starters and Desean isn't a strong WR, imo.

You're bench is ugly as hell aside from Farve.
