The weather will be mid 60's and rain.

    http://www.weather.com/weather/wxdetail/USNY0181?dayNum=1

Due to the weather; Buffalo will be forced to focus on a one dimensional game plan using Lynch and Spiller to run the ball. This will really test our new defensive coordinator and his new group of LB's

The OLB's will especially be tested by the threat of screen passes / RB passes in the flats trying to get Spiller behind our D line and test our DB's. With Crowder out and with new talent playing their first game in our new system this could really be a challenge up the middle unless the weather changes which will alter the game plan.

Pound for pound the Bills cannot match our talent or our offensive weaponry - however - with the weather limiting what we can do, weighing into account the injuries to Crowder, Long and Marshall this could make for a closer game than we think (weather depending)

Due to the injuries and the weather I say we will win by 6 in a rain soaked mess of a game.

I think the rain hurts Buffalo more than it hurts us. We can run the ball down their throats and create room for our drop back and play action games, that's not an option the Bills will have. They put 8 in the box as their base formation last year but it didn't help. And now we have Marshall to punish them for over comitting, and both of our running backs (Ricky ran out of gas) to pound them with.

Defensively, the only thing that really gave us trouble was the T.O. Evans combination that limited our coverage calls, that won't be an issue this week. I;m not worried about CJ Spiller, as long as our OLBs hold their edges and force him to run between the tackles, we'll be OK there. As for screens and draws, they may hit us for a couple decent gains, but they certainly won't win the game with them. We'll mash the Bills so long as we don't kill ourselves with turnovers, penalties, special teams gaffes, idiotic play calls and complacency, the five things that did us in the last time we were up there. Miami 24 Buffalo 13.

LOL, ok guy. I wont pound you too hard cause your supposed to have confidence in your team.

Give me Spiller, Jackson, Lynch, Evans, and Parrish all day and twice on sunday over Hippie Ricky, Lazy Marshall, and Gimmick Brown. It makes me chuckle that anyone REALLY believes that Miami is better than Buffalo offensively. I can't even take Henne over Edwards, as both had more INT's to TD's last season.

You homers are gonna feel really silly come sunday, and i'll be here to hear all the excuses.

You must be from Buffalo, the armpit of America, home of incestual idiots. Given that, I'd see why you would take your offense twice on Sundays.

Heck, twice, two of your offenses couldn't amount to our one.

Go back to the jills forum if you want to come here and start shhhh.

    F Off.

LOL, you guys are hysterical! The rain hurts the cold weather team more??? Buuaaaaahahahahahahaaaaaaa!!! Maybe if Jauron was still there!

Your flat lying out your butt saying your not worried about Spiller. EVERYBODY who faces him is afraid of looking slow and stupid. Oh, and the BILLS caused your last loss up there. Man up, and admit the fins were flat outplayed.

Afraid of Spiller? Who will block for him once we contain the outside run? This isn't college. He will be a hell of a player, but not your savior.

I'm a bills fan, but I live out west. Oh, and Miami has more degenerate drunks and criminals than Buffalo. The weathers better tho, so all is forgiven.

Wow! The amazing offensive juggernaut that is MIAMI! Averaged a whopping 22 points per game to Buffalo's 16 last season. Guess what? We have a coach now who is one of the best offensive minds in the league. Look it up genius, and all the facts. You will be sweating come sunday.

    You said it, "last season".

I'll wait till sunday but I have a strong feeling we won't be seeing you around on monday.

BTW, coaches can't score touchdowns for you, I don't care if you have Jesus calling plays.

What is entertaining is a buffalo fan counting on a rookie to lead you to the promise land. What are you gonna do with 3 starting runningbacks and no offensive line to make holes for them and or pass protect for Edwards when God forbid you can't run it three times to get a first down?

    Let's see....

In his last gig, he took your #3 QB at midseason, and formed a game plan that delivered 18 passing TD's to only 6 picks, AND on a bad team with few weapons, AND in only 8 games.

Sounds pretty good to me there chuck!:tongue2:

It's the first game for the Bills with new talent and a new coach. I don't think anyone will really know what to expect. The game is just as random on our side of the field with a new D coordinator, players and scheme. This game looks like it will be a foul weather crap shoot, because no one will know what will come out of the tunnel on Sunday. Even the bookies are stumped.

Nothing but an ignorant statement here. I said Spiller is PART of the bigger picture. Work on your reading comprehension.

You like so many have no idea what Buffalo can do with a fully healthy starting Oline. I would wait till you see them play before I started making bogus claims.

I thought Gailey's last gig was Georgia Tech.

BTW- I don't get how people count out the passing game in the rain. It's easier for the receivers in the rain.

    Well away from here
Funny thing about Spiller he's afraid anytime someone blitzes and he has to pass protect. He is awful at it.

Trent Edwards has issues throwing in blustery, poor conditions. Alex Van Pelt was the guy with the better arm capable of driving the ball through the wind an weather better than Edwards. Edwards first game in cold weather came when he played in Buffalo. He wasn't used to it, and said it bothered him to play in it. But bad weather won't affect a home team who's quarterback has issues in weather? Makes sense.

If you're gonna call other homers maybe you shouldn't say things like "I'll take Marshawn Lynch over (insert player here)". If you do that, you'll likely be the only one, even amongst Bills fans. It's one thing to actually insult someone, its another to try to insult someone and wind up looking like you have no clue; even about the team you root for. Your team is trying to replace the guy and you think he's great?

Ah yes...the same man that has been FIRED....how many times now?:lol::lol:

Oh wait no your talking about the Chan that most recently:

"Gailey inherited a Chiefs offense that ranked at the bottom of the league in almost every category the previous season. He was demoted after three pre-season games in 2009 and relieved of play-calling duties by head coach Todd Haley. Gailey was out of football in 2009."

    or

"After a 7-5 2007 regular season and losing for the sixth straight year to the Georgia Bulldogs football team, it was announced on November 26, 2007 that Gailey had been dismissed and his $1 million/year contract bought out."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chan_Gailey

BUT I TELL YOU WHAT.... You can keep your delusions alive and well in that fairy fantasy land of unicorns and fairies.

So...you dont even live in Buffalo and are talking sh%^ about MIA?

    WTF?

LOOK, the only reason 305 might have more of what you claim is because we are a pretty HUGE city that PEOPLE WANT TO LIVE IN.

So obviously with more people comes more problems.

Of course though, if you want this as a wife by all means head on out to Buffalo today, you'll find them everywhere!

Then again if you want THIS as your wife...come to MIA:

What a stupid bunch of drivel. Gailey has been very successful in the NFL, and thats what matters.

Jerry Jones admitted regret after letting Gailey go as head coach of the cowboys. Haley firing Gailey in KC was rubbish. As OC of the chiefs in 08 his first season, the chiefs improved from 31st to 24th in offense. For those who can't count, thats a 7 spot gain in just one season. Haley is a bonehead who wanted to run things his way. Gailey was NOT fired for failing doof.

He was not successful in the college ranks, but I can overlook that due to his constant success in the NFL. Doofin fans should love the guy. He did make Fiedler actually look presentable on game day after all.

6-10, 7-9 aren't that different. That's last years final standings, and both teams watched the super bowl from their couches.

Gonna be a hard fought game. I can't even say we're definitely gonna come out victorious with how the last couple pre-season games have gone, but to hell if I'm gonna say we're gonna lose.

31st on offense to 24th? Ha ha there is no where to go but up from there. But don't worry I'm from the west coast too so I'm not a biased homer. Is it his 18-14 career regular season coaching record or his 0-2 playoff head coaching record that you consider consistent success at the NFL level?

I think we will win, but it would have been a total smear if we were 100% healthy. The only thing that bugs me is the unpredictability of the Bills. With a new head coach and a new standout RB I have no idea what to expect. You can kinda get a feeling of what to expect from when Chan Gailey coached here, but you can't always rely on that either. At minimum this should be a very interesting and entertaining game. I just home that no one on either team gets hurt.

Is it ok if I hope their feeling get hurt? Someone has to hurt in some way.
I don't wish season ending pain on any player, but I hope we hurt some of them.

At least we got a decent preview of visiting fans for when we play the Jets!
Not quite the same fans, but a good warm up.

thats not the entire basis for the opinion, their just the two biggest names we added from last season and that's all you can talk about before the games are played. What has each team done from last season going into this one.

But aside from that, the Dolphins are better at almost every unit. OL, DL, LB, WR, QB (debatable right now, I know, but you're on a dolphins forum so deal with it), RB (i like spiller a lot, but our guys together are great)

The only unit i'd give the Bills the advantage at is DB. Outside of that, Miamis the better team. Now that's on paper, and we all know football isnt played on paper. So the game could go either way. But miami is the better team. They just have to play like it.

I consider his 18-14 record after taking over a 6-10 team in his first stint as a head coach very successful yes. He lost in the playoffs, but how many coaches have taken over a losing team, and made the playoffs two straight years??

I also consider his vast success as a NFL OC to be part of the equation as well. His offenses have always ranked at the top of the league with few exceptions.

I disagree. It's your opinion that they are a better team.

I will give you OL, and LB, but DL and WR's are easy to argue against. People really need to take notice to the changes in our Offense, and realize that this team has major production ability, and without needing a gimmick formation. Our DL looks very good, and the 3-4 will only help. Every week our D will improve.

it's a gimmick if its used once or twice in a few games. Its not when you've been running it for two straight seasons in just about every game. At a certain point, anyone still calling it a gimmick is someone whose either afraid of being burnt by it, or sick of being burnt by it.

switching to a 3-4 without the LBs to make it work will ensure that you guys will get worse every week, actually. Without the right personnel, it's an incredibly hard transition to make.

As for WR, going off last year, Davone Bess is better than any of your wrs. And Marshalls better than him. What do you mean its arguable.

Wow, you have Marshall and.......who? Bess? Maybe, but nobody else is worth a hoot. Evans and Parrish are equal to those two now that we have a coach who actually knows how to run an offense.

If you wanna continue to fool yourself, then be my guest. It's just gonna make tomorrow hurt even more bud. Have fun!
