Compliments of YBell. @OmarKelly Bills WR Roscoe Parrish told me after game he's got a badly bruised back. Could barely walk.

Not just Y. Bell but imo my player of the game was Clemons. He was ALL over the field, making tackles and really bringing it. Not only did he show up and play, but he had a great attitude about him. He was playing like a monster. I think he likes Nolan's D, lol.

I did not really see Vontae today. Was he just locking people down? I did notice Jason Allen, dude jumped out at me big time.

On a different note, Sean Smith did not even SMELL the field. Guess Tony liked his current rotation?

I loved clemons, bell and even Allen today. But Dansby knocked it out of the park in this game. He looked better then I ever thought he would.

Exactly. He was a magician on man coverage. Receivers lined up man-to-man across from #21, and proceeded to vanish into thin air.

It was really fun to see... or not see :shifty:

Yeah man, Clemons was impressive. Though I was not sure what I was more impressed with: the ballhawking or the sure-tackling.

Kid is starting to look like a sure upgrade over Gibril *vomit* Wilson.

The player of the game was definitely on defense however there wasn't just one guy who stood out. They all played great. Wake was getting great pressure all game (and held almost the entire game), Dansby was all over the field, Davis shut down his side of the field, and our S were all over the place.

    Wake.

He was ALL up in Trent's grill all day long, despite being blatantly held on every play..

Dude I gotta pay more attention next week, cause I was really focused on the line play today. Honestly only saw Vontae in on a couple of tackles or w/e. But it's nice to hear he was locking guys down. Thanks for the heads up.

Karlos Dansby made a huge impact. Love what he brings to our defense.

But we really need Henne to be the automatic week in, week out player of the game.

Hard to pick one guy... except for Culver's miscue, I'd argue that every Dolphin defender won their battle today. Great way to start the season.

I would say that if I had to pick one guy it would be Karlos Dansby. The player that we had lacked for the last few years in the middle is back. Bell a very close second.

Our safeties. Its refreshing to see such great play back there. Bell was solid Clemons looked very fast out there and made some plays.

    Honorable mention would be Dansby.

Another guy who had a solid game despite the fact that the offense didn't light up the scoreboard was D-Bess. He continues to show his consistent hands and is very reliable in clutch situations. He finished off the day with 6 grabs for 51 yds. Shows he was targeted 7 times meaning he either had 1 drop or it was just uncatchable, can't remember.

On another note, isn't it nice to actually have a "who was your player of the game" thread and have it filled with different names? I can get used to that, and I think I will start this thread every week, if you guys don't mind.

It's impossible to pick one player in this game. It has to just be "the defense." However, while is was very reassuring to see our young defense look as good as it did, it was against the Bills offense. If we can do to the Vikings what the Saints did, I'll be more apt to believe this defense is for real.

My player of the game isn't a player...it is Mike Nolan. As much as I hated him not running his D during the preseason, it paid off. What we saw today was nothing like we have seen since the Miami Swarm days. He put those guys in position today to make plays and they did.

hard to say no... but I reckon we'll continue to platoon IAF and Misi in... the coaches are careful not to see the rook wearing down.

Also did Dobbins even play today? Saw Carpenter in to start the game, likely due the three wide package Buffalo went to for most of the game.

yeah but he had a terrible second and third quarter punting into that wind. And Carpenter was also off, missing a field goal and kicking it out of bounds to give the Bills their first shot at good field posiition, they ended up scoring a fg that drive. But hey, if our kickers were our negatives, I'll take that every day and twice on... sun...days..

Chad Henne. I have been one of his harshest critics, but I thought he played well, and turnover free. If not for some stupid drops He could have easily had 250 yards passing, and probably a TD.
