http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=59265 Wow, 1 loss and they implode, interesting read to say the least.
bahaha I just heard one of their fans call in on Sirius saying that he thinks they are lucky to finish 8 and 8
WFAN radio has Francesco going off on an interview REX did prior to the game where he claimed two things.... 1) He had no concerns with his team leading into that game...none...LOL 2) He claimed if his team wins the turnover battle they CANT be beat....LOL
Listening to him now, for Jet fans Francesca is their anti-Christ and the best part is he loves to live the part and get under their skin.
Apparently: Man, HC and O Coord fighting, LT muscles out Greene, and Thomas Jones looked great for KC last night, and they called up AD... ALL HANDS ON DECK!!!! Iceberg spotted in the area..
Hahahahahahaa So because he slid he's going to be a great QB???!?!?!?!?!? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaa The guy that wrote this has "2009 Green Guy "Most Knowledgeable" Award" under his name. HAHAHHahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Wow, no worries though the REXXY is an unsinkable ship powered by delusions of grandeur, don't mind the ice berg lurking in the distance, that ship will turn long before it comes close to it..
You know, when I started up my Corvair and it didn't explode I knew I had a chance for this to be a great car. I won an award for Most Knowledgeable Car Person too.
Last year he didnt slide and took a beating, so sliding short of a first down is a step in the right direction I guess....
Do you honestly think that an iceberg can sink Rex Ryan? He'd probably just pull out a tooth pick and think, oh, yummy, popsicle!
OMG dude you are on fire today....just when I think you cant top what you just did..............you do...
I am getting firebombed on that forum........totally spitting nonsense out, and they are getting all fired up....
Dude seriously. Just back away from that forums. Your logic and reason will be exhausted all for naught and you'll be wasting your time.
It's funny you mention the iceberg analogy, because for the last few weeks, after having watched Hard Knocks too many times, I've been trying to peg what it is MOST about Rex Ryan I loathe and detest, until just now. Rex Ryan is the arrogant, narrow minded captain of a ship traveling through ice berg infested waters screaming "f-em, full steam ahead, there's no way this ship sinks!!" Now, in the few instances in his short career where he's emerged on the other side unscathed (due to luck alone; see bengals and colts lay down act), the media hails him as the the most daring, bold unstopable force in football. But when the collision happens (is that ice I hear scraping the hull now?), it's going to be every man for himself in Jet Land and the whole thing's going down hard and fast, and then everyone will look at each other, media included, and say "what an idiot!!". On TV, the F-bomb dropping and frat party atmosphere in that training camp is funny, amusing, great for TV and very popular. However, IMO, that sort of a setting is a bomb ready to explode. Ryan conducts his training camp with the discipline of an unemployed teenager strung out on pot, which is fun and all, but when the chips are down, its that sort of atmoshphere that leads to internal strife, confusion, and general chaos. It's just "f-it, we're tha baddest mo-fo's around and aint no way nobody's gonna kick our arse". Sparano may not be the media darling Ryan is, but when the shat is hitting the fan, I would much rather be in Sparano's ship, where they've prepared for emergencies, and have a a plan on how to get the ship to dry ground.
Exactly, I knew someone would find the allusion I made, Rexxy doesn't realize this, but when it goes bad in NY/NJ..it goes really bad!. He is sort of the prized hog at the country fair that is measured with chalk for the BBQ cook off, and he remains just as oblivious as the hog is.. In that market with that fanbase, the fall is twice as far as the climb to the top because while their is a height limit, there is no limit to the depth of the crater. Recall last season when they stumbled after the hot start? Rexxy mentioned he called Parcells, and also said "well I guess we just were eliminated from the playoffs"? Two lay down games by the Bungles and Colts, and a NFL record 5 missed opponents field goals later, and Rexxy was wearing the halo..for a time. Just wait until Nick Folk misses a clutch FG, they dumped Jay Feely who was deadly accurate, so they could sign Jason Taylor..then bottom fished for a failed FG kicker from elsewhere..on a team that wins by defense and ball control the FG kicker is far more important than just an afterthought..something Rexxy will find out sooner or later this season.
