At this point, henne is clearly the second best qb in the division and pennington is the 3rd best. Now, this isnt saying much, but still.

Well, If there's a game in which you would "unleash" Henne and really see what he can do it's on the road against an NFC opponent with a really good run defense...Hmmmmm

What hurts is Henne is often one or two caught balls from a great performance. In another thread I think it was said that if there were no drops he threw the ball well enough to have been 81% in completions. Had he just thrown that Marshall ball harder it would have been about 50 more yards and another TD. Had Marshall caught the under throw he still would have gotten more yards. I have to hand it to those guys though. They watch the tape.

this is one of the few times where i truly believe it really was the winds fault. Henne has NEVER failed to throw it hard enough.

I imagined Senor Rodruigez saying that.

Yeah, Henne has the arm. This is the week to get some confidence in the passing game, in the dome. Hartline has GOT to step it up, way too many drops for that kid. I hope they stress not holding the ball this week.

Griffin and Cook are likely out again for the Vikes. The secondary is the place to attack this week.

I game plan and come out just like the Saints. Throw the ball to set up your run game later.

I agree..hopefully the o-line can keep Henne upright. Their front 4 is tough.

If Jake can handle Jared Allen without help I think we'll be fine. Ray Edwards is good, and if Carey needs a little assistance it shouldn't be a problem since the Williams Wall is not really asked to rush the passer.

Once NO wore the Vikes down with the passing game they were able to run the ball in the second half, even though there wasn't alot of scoring.

Look up guys, the sky is still falling and Henne is still not a Hall of Famer.
