Every once and awhile. It's not normal but it's not unlikely either if that makes sense. I live about an hour and a half away from NYC and my area usually gets one every other year it seems.
It's possible, September weather is strange in the Northeast. One day it could be in the 80s and the next in the 60s.
The picture's a fake, guys. Well, actually not fake. It's being spread around the net saying it happened yesterday during the freak storm we had, but it was actually taken in 1976.
No tornado "slammed" NY bro. That was some schmuck looking for his 15 minutes. Possibly a tornado. Hardly "slammed". It was a bad storm with hurricane force winds, and if a spout did appear it was minor And as for that photo at the start of the thread: Nope. I think most of us would have seen a monster like that.
Exactly. I dont no where this notion came from that it was a fake. Try telling my good friends that in Brooklyn- where they lost their houses and cars in a matter of twenty minutes.
Yeah, I was trying just to let everyone know of the situation, except I was getting some flack from someone that lives 2 hours away from NYC like a douche. I feel bad for those that had to endure that heartache.
