Great watch! Really breaks down our defense, shows both JAllen and Vontae. Also go into Wake, showing plays against the run and the pass. Also talk about the offense and Henne's development... http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-playbook/09000d5d81ac900a/Playbook-AFC-East-battle-in-Miami
The Jets are missing Revis, Jenkins, Holmes and Pace. Taylor is dinged, so is Mangold. I think that has as much to do with the picks as anything. Still no respect IMO.
Heres another video. This is pretty cool too. Especially loved the beginning showing us in the hallway right before the game, and Vontae jumping around... lol Dolphins vs. Vikings Mini-Movie
bah,all these guys weeks ago had the jets winning 3 superbowls in a row.our d played much better in those 2 games and all of a sudden analyst and experts are changing their tune.they should have to eat crow like everyone else.and it will seem every win they will have an excuse right after the win..well,farve's rusty, the recievers suck, the bills o-line is terrible, revis and pace out for the jets..we just got lucky that win..well i say f that, take your flipfloped predictions and cram them. nice piece though, thanks op.
Ok I love the Admiral Ackbar thing, but I must have missed something recently. Can someone tell me how and when Ackbar became a cultural phenom? The dude, with his funky fish head is popping up everywhere. Edit. Nevermind, Did what everyone should do and Googled it.
yeah for some reason I don't like when the "experts" pick us....maybe it's because I'm not used to it
EXCELLENT! Also on Total Access after doing an interview at the Finsiders.com Rich Eisen actually gave us some love and said that we're always hearing about the opposite side and the fans of the Dolphins are getting tired of it!
I admit I get concerned when I hear all the talking heads jumping on the bandwagon. Reminds me of Satans 2nd year and a bunch of them were talking Superbowl nonsense. We know how that ended up.
With the exception of 2008, this team has NEVER handled success well. I'm talking about all the way back to 1974-75. With Marino in 84-85, there was just too much for the NFL to deal with, but the rest of the league eventually caught up with it, so I'm discarding that period because it was such an anomalous situation. The upside is Tony Sparano was the coach to produce the lone exception. After a lifetime of watching this malady play out, you develop a defensive mechanism of waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Yeah, didn't watch it but last week I remember the promo for playbook was something to the effect of, "Find out why Favre and the Vikings will get back to winning against the Dolphins this Sunday."
Agreed, but lets not get too ahead of ourselves... I don't even want to think/jinx that possibility. We've got a long way to go before we can start talking about that, but it would be great.
