Good thing is IMO,Tony said he was sick a couple days ago. I'm taking that as a cold(flu) that will be gone by Sunday.....
Could be the flu, could be MRSA. Alaika-Francis had something. I suspect it's the latter. But who knows with this organization?
then it's a good thing we played so much musical linemen during camp and pre-season. if he doesn't play the next guy can step in and the o-line still be comfortable with each other.
If he is puking...I say keep him in. I would love to see Jerry sport his technicolor dreamcoat all over Pouha.
Meh, we've played the best defense we have in a decade without Crowder so far. And if our line falls apart because a rookie interior lineman can't play, then we deserve it.
Hopefully it runs its course and he's good to go by Sunday night. Thats a long ways from now. I hate seeing rookies miss time. First Odrick, now this. We don't have tons of depth along the line.
Crowder being out doesn't really bother me. In fact, I think it will hinder the D if he is in there given his limited practice. Losing Jerry really hurts. He has been extremely tough and solid. His physicality is big for the running game and against a tough Jets D front 7 ... wow ... it will be difficult to go without Jerry. I think this team will be a lot better when Jerry and Odrick are back at full speed in the line up and think that those two being out will be a big negative for the Dolphins going into this game. Just very disappointing.
Being sick takes a lot out of you so even if he is better by Sunday, most likely, he will not play the entire game, if at all.
