It's as if we are watching the Bills pack it in for the season. They not only don't have any talent they have no heart as well.
Did you see the 3 Jets open in the endzone on that TD? They weren't great as a 4-3 team last yr, this yr their defense is just maggoty garbage yet they will stick with that 3-4 no matter. Head Coaches are idiots at times
Sort of diminishes that NE win if you ask me. The Bills are just getting beasted. The Jets O-Line is tearing them a new a-hole. You could see both LT and Greene go for over 100.
Wow. Hats off to the Jets offensive line. A 67-year old man in a back brace could run for 100+ yards behind those guys. Crazy big holes open for the tandem.
Well, watching this game gives me an appreciation of what Jauron and Fewell did last season, as this current team is crap and Gailey is not exactly inspiring the troops. How would anyone like to be Chan Gailey at the press conference? "well coach, sold out stadium, your team played like ****, what do you to say?" It would be a Coors light moment..
No where is it written then in switching from 4-3 to a 3-4 or a 3-4 to a 4-3 that you have to do it all at once. If you don't have the players for either system devise a system that is built around the strength of the players you have.
You'd think, but they typically do not do things like that in the NFL. Last yr the Jags tried to run the 3-4 to start the season, sucked at it, switched back to the 4-3 and were decent Defense afterwards. As for the Bills, just wow, they have so many problems I'd hate to be the GM.
Well, I do think fitzy has played a good game, his passes were on target but the Receivers just are not making plays.
I see UDFA Johnson just caught a TD. To me, it looks like the Bills Vet Wr's quit on Gailey, that is why they were dropping passes that were easy catches, the last Bills drive Evans dropped two, Parrish one, the balls were right there and they just would not sell out to catch them in a 38-7 game. That is, imho, a Culture of Losing in Buffalo, it shouldn't matter if the game is out of reach, they have to play hard all the time..and they are not.
I think the Bills stink, but I expected more out of them today. They played Miami tough. They played NE. They were non-competitive today. If the Jets don't sweep these guys, I will be beyond shocked. By the last game of the season, they will be playing for the #1 pick in the draft.
They look worse. 0-16 worse. To add to the crap storm, knowing their management, they'll probably take a "stud WR" with the first pick in the 2011 draft.
Why they are awful, Miami is the only team that plays teams down to their level....the Jets did what you are supposed to do to inferior teams today...the talk of an upset on here was about as good as it gets....
It didnt matter Pads, the Jets where churning out 8 yard carries all day....you cant win if you dont stop that...
FY, I haven't seen a Bills team fold up like this since the bad old days in the mid 80's, back in the Joe Ferguson days, used to be every game at home was a dog fight but this one was just a laugher in the second half.
It all evens out by the end of the year. In fact, I think the Jets have a tougher schedule with Denver and Houston vs. Oakland and Tenn.
OT: Wow Jimmy Clausen is really good at killing the clock late in the game during potential game-winning drives.
In 2005, they took Mike Nugent in the 2nd round (47th overall). The Jets didn't have a 1st round pick.
