What will we have to do to beat New York this sunday in NY? I know you guys beat them twice last year. What are the main things we will have to do in order to win this game? I figure I would ask since you know them so well. It would be awesome if we walked in there and beat them. They seem so arrogant. You guys got the shaft last sunday. They should award you a victory over them. That is a total blown call by the officials. Anyways thanks for the advice if any and keep fighting the rest of the season. I would love it if you won this division rather then the Pats or Jets.
get to Sanchez. the broncos got to him all game long two weeks ago and sanchez went back to his mediocre play because of it. You have to stop LT and shonne greene, which is easier said then doen, but the packs Dlines pretty beast. If clay mathews is back, that will be very significant to the game. Don't bail out sanchez on 4th and 6 with a stupid PI penalty at the end of the game either. their secondary is very beatable. Rodgers should have a good game. Revis island is a myth. He was healthy two weeks ago when a Rookie wr beat him for a td, don' listen to the nonsense where people are saying he was still hurt. He wasn't. At this point anyone still trying to portray Revis as the best CB in the NFL is simply doing PR for revis and not watching the games. He got beat by moss, took a week off, got beat by harvin and then got beat by a rookie (demarious thomas). Greg Jennings can beat him too.
Clay Matthews is playing, so if he can get to Sanchez early that would help. Also stopping their run game helps. Jets also scored on Miami because of a blocked punt, which shouldn't happen to the Packers. Denver seemed to stop the run at first and had the lead even when it got going late in the game, they lost that game because of a stupid Pass Interference by the Broncos.
the broncos should have beaten them, and they just got destroyed by the raiders. Yes, you do. I watched every snap of that broncos-jets game. THe jets had no right to win that game, Renaldo Hill gave them the W with that PI call. (and it was PI, not arguing that whatsoever) They got lucky. real lucky.
Sure, on any given Sunday. You guys have a very solid team with a top 5 QB. You match pretty good, and the Jests have been playing way over their heads. Just a matter of the right time and place for a team to bring them back down to earth. Would love for that to be this weekend.
stay disciplined in your lanes, sit back and play zone.. Its when Sanchez feels pressure that he becomes most dangerous, his feet and instincts allow him to move around the pocket with ease, buy time, and deliver throw's after the initial read breaks down... Also, he thrives on the quick tempo passing stuff if you decide to blitz, hence my reasoning to sit back and see if he can pick you apart.
It's tough now that LT isn't goldbricking his way out of town, but as long as you stop their run you'll be fine. Also, not having Jason Allen out there to fall down and give up a 67 yard TD is a bonus.
The good news is Harris and Bigby come back for this game. I hope we pull off a huge upset. I believe we can shut down their offense but its our offense being able to move the ball and pass on Revis is what I worry about.
If you guys can not only pressure Sanchez but hit him and hit him often, you'll win. IMO, Rodgers is the 2nd best QB in the league (P. Manning) and he has the ability to make nearly any DB look foolish. As someone said earlier, Revis Island is at the moment at least, a myth. So I think you guys will be able to gain a lot of yards through the air. I predict the Pack to win this game 27-17
Should the Pack be able to pick up the Jets blitzes, they will have a good shot. However, I don't know if you'll be able to stop the run on defense. I like the Jets in this game though, coming off the bye week at home. Jets historically own the Packers also.
dude, dont worry u got this. u guys r the best team in the nfc imo, and r only going to get healthier with harris and bigbi expected back soon. please beat them for us, i am still distraught over this disaster we suffered sunday, and although if we win and the jets lose sunday wouldnt heal the pain completely, it would help along way. good luck.
I'm sure Clay with give Sancheez hell. Also, it seems as if Mark Sanchez ONLY completes passes to wide open recievers. I have no clue how they get so open but the Packers cannot let that happen.
Does Keller look wide open? Come on. Give me a break. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81add55f/Keller-12-yard-TD
I think the Packers defense can stop Sanchez and the Jets offense... however I'm uncertain that Packers offensive line can handle Rex Ryan's blitz schemes. Luckily Aaron Rodgers is a pretty good quarterback though.
In all seriousness though that was Bobby Carpenter guarding Keller. It was a nice throw though. Honestly though I don't watch a ton of Jets games but I moslty see Sanchez completing passes to wide open recievers, which is good on the reciever/OC's part - but his inability to fit the ball into tight spaces may be why his completion percentage is so low. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I think that is an incorrect statement. He has made many great passes this year. http://www.nfl.com/videos/new-york-jets/09000d5d81aac093/QB-Sanchez-to-WR-Cotchery-2-yd-pass-TD He throws the slant very well and usually the receiver is pretty well covered. He has been victimized by a number of drops this year, which has hurt his completion percentage. But where he has had trouble is connecting on the long ball. So I would say he does not have an inability to fit the ball into tight spaces. He doesn't have the rag arm many people think he has. I'll leave you with one more http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81b651c3/Braylon-Edwards-32-yard-TD
This. The Jets running game is what makes their offense go. I don't have much faith in Sanchez beating anyone with his arm. Shut down their run game and you should win.
He did, and he played well. However, you were able to run the ball against us very effectively. If the Jets' running game gets shut down, Sanchez is going to have to do all the work, and that is an advantage to the defense. Not saying Sanchez wouldn't be able to do it, but he hasn't showed he could yet.
