I've got a better idea. Let's just ignore it for now. If the Jets lose we'll revisit and laugh. If they win we'll continue to ignore.
    Why?.....because we're Dolphin fans.

Prediction: Greg Jennings will burn Revis for a 60 yard Touchdown. Revis will then complain of a bad hamstring. Again.

Jets are good, but they are not elite by any stretch. If they don't play well or get a few turnovers, they will lose. Luck has been on their side for the first few weeks. But the Jests, like Miami, are not the type of teams to benefit from a bi-week. This games a 50-50.

When Revis is 100%; there is no other defensive player I would take over him. Not one.

I've only seen them play twice (I didn't watch much of the Vikings game). I saw the Chicago game and the Maimi game. If they play like they did in either of those games, the Jets will win handily. But I think GB is better than that and I expect a high scoring, close game. Jets come out flat after the bye week.

OK - I am going to disagree. Revis can only cover 0ne guy. One. If you play a team like the Colts, how does Revis cover Collie, Garcon and Wayne.

If I had to chose a position for my best defensive player, it would be defensive end or linebacker, not cornerback. I think they can have a greater impact on the game. See Lawrence Taylor or Bruce Smith for reference.

I don't believe in what happened in the past, with different players and coaches, has any bearing on what will happen now.

Their passing game scares me. If you haven't noticed, we've been having trouble with the pass. Rodgers is good.

I agree 100% with the OP. They will run away with this game, and anything else would be a huge disappointment.

A loss would be catastrophic. I mean, the Jets are so much better than the Packers that there would be absolutely no excuse for having lost to a vastly inferior team at home.

Should they lose this game, Jets fans should be calling for management's heads, and everyone on that coaching staff ought to be fired.

I see it as a bit of a toss up. I think the odds favor that the Jets will run all over GB and that GB will pass all over the Jets. If Sanchez keeps avoiding the INTs than odds are decent that NY escapes with a win. If he throws two picks (or rather GB holds on to at least two of the three possibles he seems to through each week I've watched) then GB wins.

Your right. When Davis got burned, he shut out everyone in front of him the next week. Darrel Revis? Bad hamstring.

Unless my memory fails me, I recall also hearing mentions of wanting Schottenheimer up on a cross.

If Revis were in the same busted coverage as Vontae, he would have gotten burned MUCH worse since Vontae is MUCH faster than Hammy man.

    Yeah...

He was great last year... We haven't seem **** from him so far though. He's still a good player, I'm not dismissing that. I'm just saying that you don't know the extent of his "injury" and how bad it really is, or if he's just trying to save face after getting worked, and possibly being a one hit wonder last season.

And if you'd take Revis over Polamalu you're on crack. That guy is scary good, and has proven it year after year.

DeMarcus Ware is the best defensive player in the league and it really isn't close.

    Kelly Jennings.

Pack's problem is their defense is depleted and Capers just does not adjust very well when he missing pieces.

The margin for error is so small with the Jets. They are not a great, dominating team. It won't take much of a slip up for them to lose to any middle of the pack or better NFL team. I'm just being honest. I'd love to be able to confidently say they are going to smack the Pack, but I'd be lying through my teeth if I did. Can they beat them? Sure. Can they lose to them? Sure. Hopefully I am going with my kids. I'll know if I scored free tickets tomorrow.

Is that why he didn't do jack against the Giants?

James Harrison ****s on D-Ware. Much better against the run too.

So because of one game, he's not the best defensive player in the NFL? Even though he puts up the best numbers year after year, and effects every facet of the game, he's not the best defensive player?

Btw, Ware did more against the Giants than Harrison did against Miami, so....
