Ok, while I have been a fan forever, I am not really that educated on the Xs and Os part of it. Can someone explain why we seemingly can't figure out how to execute a screen pass, or defend them? Why does Henne check it down almost every single play? Why does a team that is disciplined enough to have the fewest penalties, manage to drop easy passes, fail to tackle, and find a way to miss every opportunity that comes their way? Is it personnel, coaching, front office?
I was sick of watching four guys repeatedly go all out after Flacco while Ray Rice ran to the flat with nobody within 20 yards.
Time for my weekly bashing of Dan Henning... Ronnie kills it on the first drive, and who starts the second drive? Of course, It's Ricky. The you get pass happy in a close game, when its clear the O-Line was blowing them off the ball. I literally have clue what Henning's game plan is at times, and I'm not sure he does either.
Yep, like Brown's drop on 3rd down, like Henne's missed TD pass, like SS24's dropped Int, like Carpenter's missed FG. We choked fellas, the Ravens did not outphysical us, the offense just choked. The cure for that is experience, which we do not have at the moment. But we are getting there.
It was absolutely mind-boggling why he decided to go with Ricky for what seemed to be an entire second quarter.
Totally agree. Hennes fault that Ronnie dropped a ball that would have extended a drive and the Hartline fell down and that Marshall didn't give full effort or that carpenter missed a ft or that s Smith can't catch or that the defense. Blew *** all day. Yep... bench Henne.
It's nice and all, but we can't score TDs. Titans aren't going to be any easier. Oh and they have Moss. Our high scoring offense really couldn't have used him...
