Well I am out fellas. Thanks for the chance as always (when I can) to be on here and discuss the game in real time with you. Hopefully we can make up some ground next game...god we really need that 1st home win to be next week. No more BS at home.
Sounds like you care more about what the Jets do. I mean, I can safely say we all hate the Jets but I love my Phins more.
Good game guys. Miami played us tough for a while but missed out on a couple plays to stay in the game there in the 4th quarter. Good luck the rest of the season.
Why? Did Clemons allow Ray Rice to tear us up? Did Clemons allow a fake punt for a 1st down? Did Kellen distract the refs so they couldn't see us calling a TO in the first place? Did Kellen force Sean Smith to drop a pick 6? Did he tell Hartline to fall down on the first INT? Did he throw dirt in Marshall's eyes on his botched catch turned INT? Did he cut off Fasano's thumbs to make him drop a few passes? Did he call play action with 2 receiver sets while trailing by 2 scores late in the game? It's obvious Balt game planned to take away Marshall and Bess forcing Hart, Fasano, Ronnie, and Ricky to beat us. That doesn't exactly weigh very much in our favor. Let's look at it from the flip side and pretend the same strategy is taken against Balt. If we try and take their top 2 receivers, they still have 1 more premium WR, Rice, McGahee, and Heap. Hart, Fasano, Ronnie, Ricky VS Mason, Heap, Rice, McGahee...... puhlease! That's the difference.
Apparently sophomore slumps are a fallacy. And apparently it doesn't matter when we have only 2 legitimate receiving options in the passing game.
Blah blah ****ing blah blah ****ing blah blah blah. Henne's offense put the Ravens in position to score for most of the game, when it was time to score a TD at the end of the first half, Henne shot putted a wounded duck that missed Fasano, add in 3 int's and a pass that was thrown way to hard that bounced off of Beast's hands for an interception and there is a reality that has set in: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qo6cNQwN6LQ"]YouTube - The Sopranos: Big ***** is a fish[/ame] Sooner or later tone, you have to face the facts, Chad Henne is a fish..those guys down there with him, they ain't moving. Said the same about Porter in 09, sooner or later, Sparano has to face the facts. Henne is a fish.
Righhhhhhht....... b/c Thiggy's INT ratio is so low that he can attempt to make things happen all day long.
What's frustrating about Miami is that they expend resources in a pathetic way. Wouldn't a third or a third+a future pick for Greg Olsen make a big difference right now? Imagine if the Lakers had pulled off the Garnett deal in the summer of 07 sending Bynum, sending Odom, Kwame Brown's expiring contracts and multiple picks instead of the Gasol deal later on with Kwame, plus draft picks, the young Gasol. They wouldn't have had a team around Kobe-Garnett. That's the kind of team the Dolphins are they'll make the big acquisition, but they won't fill in the gaps and it shows on the field. They need skill position players who wouldn't have been expensive to acquire.
BS. Hartline fell on one interception and Marshall Ted Ginned another. Sooner or later Padre, you have to start blaming someone else other than Henne. Like the guys who are dropping passes or making horrible play calls. It's not always the QB who needs to get all the blame. Having said that, Henne still had a bad game. Still he is a good and young QB.
Let Henne develop and surround him with weapons. If he fails then he's a failure. Right now that's just constant rehashing, lack of stability and frustration. Show me one good Joe Flacco did today that makes him a great quarterback. He has a weapon by the name of Ray Rice who did so much work for him it's ridiculous. On every play Henne has to make an excellent throw to guys that get little separation and don't even catch the ball quite often.
I'm not sure where you get your math from padre. So 13+8 now equals 32+games? Ok..... I'll buy that. The excuses end when Henne actually causes us to lose multiple games. So far that has yet to happen.
