I hate to say it, but if I had to pick one game to be the Thanksgiving upset, it would be the Jets/Bengals game. Jets are coming off a short week, their pass defense has been poor, and the Bengals have the 8th ranked passing offense. Revis is not playing as well as last year and he can't cover both TO and Chad Johnson. I know the Bengals look terrible last week, but I saw them play Pit pretty tough and they hit some plays against Miami. Plus you have to add in the "trap game" factor for the Jets. This could make your guys night I am not going to call it a flat out loss for the Jets, but it wouldn't shock me if they lost. They can't keep pulling off miracle wins and sooner or later it is going to come back to bite them in the ***.
Shame on you guys then.....they just lost to the Bills.... No worries Sanchize will pull it out in the last 30 seconds again....hey got to give them credit...they get it done...
The do have some talent of offense, no? I don't think they are nearly as bad as last week's loss. In fact, it is a toss up between them and the Cowboys for the best team with a lousy record. I think they are better than the Lions and the Jets went to OT with them. I also think they are on par with the Browns and Houston and the Jets had a hard time with both. Should they win? Obviously. But I'd rather be playing Carolina.
That was a close second for me. Dallas plays well on Thanksgiving and they are not as bad as their record.
they are 2-8, they arent good....revis on TO, let Ocho do his thing, they will stop Benson...Palmer will throw 2 picks, it is a wrap....
One of the many complaints about Schottemheimer. I believe the plan was to use Greene the majority of the time from last week's game on out, but that fumble might have put him in the dog house....but it was only his second lost fumble of the year. Don't you have back on your roster that is the feature guy somewhere else? If so, start him. But if I had to choose between Greene or LT, I'd flip a coin
The Bengals are a train wreck. No way they win tomorrow. Every other AFC East team has already beaten them comfortably.
I am more worried about the Lions beating the Pats then the Bengals beating the Jets. The only positive for NE is that Best is out. Detroit gave the Jets a good run at home....
I didn't Palmer's brother was the backup QB. That's pretty wild. http://www.nfl.com/thanksgiving/sto...will-be-gametime-decision?module=HP_headlines
The Bengals are playing on a short week as well. What team is better equiped to play this game? All 3 favorites are in for a " trap game" Jets and Pats play each other next week. But the Saints get the bengals ... Turkey day will be awesome with a Pats loss and a Jets win! Also, revis shut down 2 Andre and Calvin Johnson. Chad Johnson blows this year. TO is doing well, but Revis owns him.
IMO the Jets are the least likely favorite to lose today. Its not b/c the Jets have been great. They have been squeaking out last second wins against mediocre to poor opponents for the last three weeks. Odds alone would suggest that those bounces won't continue to go their way. But Cincy is a train wreck. And now Carson Palmer is injured and a maybe for this game. I could see Cincy quitting early.
I find it very hard to not expect NE to roll, NO to end out on top, and NYJ to continue to end up with W this day.
I'm picking the Lions for an upset. They NEED to finally win a Thanksgiving game! And shut everyone up who say they shouldn't be allowed to play on Thanksgiving anymore. I'm sorry but the Bengals blow, I'd be shocked to see them beat the Jets on the road.
early lead for the Bungs! Dont worry Jest fans, I'm sure they'll slither to another last second miracle W against yet another beast of a team.
I didn't predict a loss. And so far I've been wrong once with my other predictions. sent from my EVO 4G
Your posts suck. Bicketybam has been a quality member here and has brought some knowledge to the site. I wish I could say the same about you but unfortunately that is not the case. The best post you've made on this site is wishing the members here a Thanksgiving.
I've been a Jets fan longer than you've been alive. Your post sound like my 15 year old son. As far as the potential Bengali upset, weren't the Jets losing at the half? I'm sure you were confident they were going to win. Heck, everyone knew Smith was going to score on an end around and a kick return, right? sent from my EVO 4G
Thanks, but even his Thanksgiving post sucked. "Thank God I am a Jets fan." Spoken like someone who's been a fan for 2 years. Suffer through 30 years like I have and tell me how blessed you are. Giants fans have had it much better. sent from my EVO 4G
