And I'm not the one to usually be negative.... But, what would our record be if our DB's could catch the damn ball? Sanchez should of had 3 INTs tonight. Don't get me wrong, our defense is phenomenal! They totally dominated the Jests tonight. I have never see a group of DB's drop so many balls though.
Sean Smith should've had 3 himself. Have to attribute some of that to the wet ball, however I agree Sanchize should've had a 4 to 5 interception game in my opinion.
I've been screaming about this for weeks!! I'm so glad I found other people in this forum (just joined today) that share in my agony
Yea, me too. I have never seen so many dropped sure INT's by one team in one season. An INT would have won the Brown's game and most likely at least one or two more.
I think its definately something to be concerned about. Its someting we've seen all year. Its tough to get on them today though. that was a sloppy game because of the weather today. It was pouring down rain, windy, cold, the field was slick, the ball was slick, drops and things like that are going to happen. It wasnt just our DB's dropping the ball, it was also our WR's, and theirs.
We were talking about this at the tavern today. Never seen anything like the game SS had today. Dude has hands of stone. Definitely makes you wonder how different our season would be if even half of those dropped picks were caught.
Two more wins imo, then add on the Stealers game....but it is what it is, that happens to everyone. Sure wish the ball rolled our way though, nice that we stop that rolling ball on the Jets side though and win the close game.
