Got it yesterday. VERY deep. Loving all the things you can do. This is a game I'll be playing for months.
yeah, i heard they get pre-orders to you ON the release date usually. it's the 11th tomorrow, im still friggin waiting.
i played TDU for years actually. i replayed that more than any other game. something about the collectibility...accruing wealth, houses, cars. i'd pop it in, just to drive around, not really trying to achieve or compete for something. it better friggin arrive tomorrow. im pissed.
Just be warned...if you've played Forza or GT5, the controls on TDU2 in reality kind of suck. WAY too sensitive with the steering. I find myself slamming into oncoming traffic for no other reason than tapping the stick lightly and the car overreacting. Takes some getting used to.
man, anyone else playing? this game is glitchy as hell! i had 100K vanish on me in the casino. i lost about 15 hours of gameplay, and had to start over. the save file got corrupted and erased..for no apparent reason. you cant do clubs or hardly anything online as their servers are all out of whack. not to mention, they made certain "training" and competition courses WAAAAY too difficult. yet its still TDU, and fun to win money and buy crap.
this game was a tremendous disappointment for me. And I still play from time to time...but very weak job by Atari.
Agreed. I grew bored with it rather quickly. I'm waiting now for "Need For Speed: The Run." If they do this right, it'll be an amazing game.
