Here's the updated Vikings trade block with an idea of value for each player. I am willing to accept young players with affordable contracts, they do not have to be starters but the potential to. need DT, DE, LB, OG, WR, TE Pick #12 - A first round pick, and multiple other picks. QB Rhett Bomar $330,000.00 - 6th or 7th Rounder Vince Young $8,500,000.00* - 5th to 7th Rounder Joe Webb $405,000.00 - 3rd or 4th rounder WR Greg Camarillo $1,700,000.00 - 4th to 7th rounder OG Anthony Herrera $2,650,000.00 - 4th to 7th rounder Steve Hutchinson $6,680,000.00 - 2nd to 7th rounder LB E.J. Henderson $4,700,000.00 - 1st rounder or combination of starting calibre LB with 2nd to 4th rounder CB Cedric Griffin $3,350,000.00 - 2nd round to 7th rounder Antoine Winfield $6,750,000.00 - 3rd rounder to 7th rounder
what's the logic behind having such a wide range of acceptable compensation (ex. 2nd to 7th rounder for Steve Hutchinson)?
A) it doesnt scare anyone off by overvaluing players. B) Im guessing the compensation will vary based on what else he gets with it in terms of players. Not something I havent thought of before and a pretty decent idea
like it was stated before. Not everyone has the same values for each player, so it shows I am flexible on what can be offered, and I will always look over the value of each offer. Steve Hutchinson can be had straight up for a second rounder. Steve Hutchinson can be had for a third Steve Hutchinson for starting OG and 7th rounder ect
I dunno... haven't walked into a car dealership lately and seen a sticker price of "$35k to $80k" for a Porsche. Buyer: Ummm... will you take $50k?
