Not a huge fan of posting waived players in the main forum, however if Ireland wants a cheaper #2 Te Donald Lee is a guy they should look at as his play is fine, but the Pack is loaded at Te. One time Dolphin Draft pick, he made a p bowl in GB.
Lee did OK in Green Bay because he had a shoo-in Hall-of-Famer and a possible future HOF'r throwing to him. But he was useless as **** on a bull in Miami, and that's what he'd be again without a good QB - and we don't have one of those on the roster yet.
Problem was in Miami he kept on dropping the ball. In Green Bay he got much better at that. Players improve.
Donald Lee had the dropsies big time here in Miami. He and Atari Bigby, and that Sam Shields cat all went on to spurn the dolphins this past season/or past seasons. And all by Green Bay. Interesting.
What year exactly did Donald Lee make it to the Pro Bowl? Was it when the Pro Bowl was in Miami, and he bought his own way to attend the game? And he is not worth signing at this point, unless it's as a #3.
2007, Witten and Shockey were selected, but DNP'd, however I cannot find who replaced them but I seem to recall dolfans bemoaning losing Lee after he made the game.
