http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news?slug=ys-osuprobe030711 Well, to me those items were the players' personal property so if they can throw them into a lake, they surely can sell them, however the NCAA has looked so corrupt lately they may have to "do something"./
YAAAWN! Why doesnt the NCAA do something funner like bust high school kids going into major programs who all of a sudden have Esculades and Hummers.
The problem I'm having is Ohio St knew what happened and knowingly played players that wouldn't be able to play. To me they did that to save their season. Very disappointed
Apparently there may be more games because the NCAA may not be satisfied with OSU's suspension, according to Bruce Feldman.
Ive always felt Tres was a lil phoney honestly, you cant run a program that is consistently in the top 10 without breaking rules.... That being said I couldnt care less if they fired him tommorow, this program would have a line full of credible coaches ready to take over.
Ohio Taint ! There has been crap going on there since Clarett was allowed to play, yet never attending a class. Its smelled in Columbus for years now, and the NCAA isn't done with Tressel. They don't like you breaking the rules, but they REALLY don't like it when you lie to them about breaking the rules. His two games is only a Ohio Taint school sanction. The NCAA will likely give him more games than that. The problem is, it took the NCAA 5 years to impose its will on USC, it may take just as long at Ohio Taint, and by that time, Sweater Vest may be retired. Still I hope it ends up in as many lost schollys as USC got....30, which will hurt Ohio Taint. Michigan may finally beat them again
What's the problem Padre, I'll tell you what the problem is.....if you allow these guys to go online and sell these items, probably in a pre-arranged auction at EBay, then boosters will have a field day. The kids then will start selling anything & everything to boosters, who know ahead of time what item they are buying and the price. They might as well just let the boosters give them straight up payments right out of the wallet (which has been suspected at most colleges anyways). Whether or not you agree with it, college student-athletes are supposed to be amateur athletes, and not on a "payroll" via an online auction site.
They should take Ohio States most recent national championship away and give it to its rightful owner....
Aww, la lastima. Don't give them stuff and problem solved, otherwise I see no problem with people disposing of their own personal property, to use an example from Mike&Mike, does this mean they cannot sell their cars, computers, have a yard sale or what have you?
Oh jesus here we go...take away whatever they want all thats on paper anyway the memory of the OSU front 4 dominating the OL will NEVER die.
Oh yeah, Miami got there *** beat for most of that game. But they tied it and won it in overtime until the phantom PI call ten minutes after it never happened...
It should have been called defensive holding instead of P.I. wich wouldnt really have mattered...but thats the way the cookie crumbles.
lol ok lets take a nice and slow look at it since you think it was..... Not only was there no pulling, there was some pushing by OSU...
Ummm bro? Do u not see the pic I posted?? Are Canes fans in so much denial they are blinded!! LOL Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
A Knicks fan making accusations of denial… that’s rich. By the way, video evidence trumps still photos.
The video CLEARLY shows that at the exact second of your photo, he is not even being touched. Nice try though...
Bs the video doesn't show up close shots from all angles...try again. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
LOL it shows every inch of both players bodies and in the only angle that clearly shows a gap between them and the ref who actually threw the late flag had an even worse angle
So his jersey is just smeared? I also seen another shot with a handful of jersey....musta been PhotoShoped or something. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
The "Still Photo" is from a video genuis.... Also I wouldnt even want to talk NBA basketball right now as the whole country is laughing at the Heat and their crying ways, so just stay on topic and look at the picture real close then admidt you were wrong and goto HeatFreak and argue with Section about why the Heat suck vs good teams and cant win a close game. Dueces.
That is the absolute best angle because it shows that his hands are spread wide then finally touch him once he touched the ball. This is all in good fun but the call should have never been made. Not on fourth down in overtime. Not when it was questionable at best, and especially not 3 seconds after the play, and not when the ref who threw it said he just wanted to make sure there was no foul on the play....
Uh… yeah, that kind of goes without saying. What do you think that proves? The point isn’t that the photo was somehow pulled from a rift between dimensions, just that it inherently conveys less information—and can actually mislead—than a video. And in this instance, that’s exactly what’s happening.
Love me some Miami Heat! They have work to do and need a piece or two next year but they're still an excellent team. Everyone was talking about the Lakers earlier in the season because they were playing like crap. All teams can go into funks..
