The Broncos welcome back Andre Goodman and Britton Colquitt at reduced payrates. The Broncos are happy to have their 25 year old punter, who surprised the team with his 44.6 yard average in 2010, back on the squad. The Broncos are also glad to see Goodman return to the team, who looks to bounce back from an injury riddled 2010 season where he only played in 8 games...

The New York Giants would like to welcome the following players:

Mario Henderson 700k T - Started for the Raiders last years and improved over the year before considerably. Gave up 1 sack, 2 hits and 10 pressures in 463 snaps, quite respectable.
Matt Dodge 300k P - Back at a reduced rate. Punted well later in the year after initial jitters.
Alex Smith 300k TE - Decent hands, better blocker at this point
Mark Anderson 300k DE - 4 sacks 3 hits 10 pressures in only 334 snaps...Another pass rusher never hurts
Pisa Tinoisamoa $300k LB - One of the best vs the run from his position. Ranked 17 out of 41 4-3 OLB's by our scouting service PFF.

49ers sign Safety Jarrad Page. Page will replace recently departed Michael Huff. Page, who is known for flying under the radar for unspecified reasons, was signed to a one year contract for a sum of $300,000.00.

Pats would like to welcome Tiki Barber back into the NFL. We signed him for $351k. He's going to have to work to make the team, but he's always been a consumate professional and will bring a veteran presence to our running back stable. After practice, he and Brett Favre can sit around the fire and talk about when they used to play the game in leather helmets.

High and tight Tiki...High and tight...

The Eagles would like to welcome TE Fred Davis. Davis, a promising young tight end has still put up decent numbers despite being behind Chris Cooley of the Redskins. We expect those numbers to drastically improve as he instantly becomes our starting TE. His playmaking ability from the TE position will fit in perfectly with an offense that includes michael vick, chris johnson, andre johnson, roddy white, devone bess and a star studded offensive line.

The Giants would like to welcome their new backup QB, Byron Leftwich for 300k. We feel his strong arm and patience in the pocket will work just fine with a good offensive line and top flight weapons around him.

    Panthers welcome:

    SS, Aaron Francisco ($300,000)
    ILB, Corey Mays ($300,000)

Francisco- Although, we currently have one of the top secondaries in the league (imo), it never hurts to add veteran talent as depth. Especially, if they are cheap. Francisco started 12 games last season for the Colts and had some solid games. He will be backing up Charles Godfrey at the SS position.

Mays- Just some more veteran depth. Mays started 13 games for the Chiefs in 2009, where he had 85 combined tackles. Not bad. He still has some weaknesses, but I like the addition as he can compete with Jamar Chaney for the 3rd ILB spot, behind the studs. Solid value for $300k.

5.5, or, more than Sean Locklear has in the last 2 years combined (though I'll be fair, he played RT in 2010.)

And more than horrendous LT for the Bills Demetrius Bell, who allowed 5.25, in more games to boot.

Not to mention the pressures he allowed and the lack of push in the run game.

because they won the super bowl without him?

He only gave up 1 sack through week 7 in 2010, playing a new position. He will be my left tackle, where he belongs. He is 2 years removed from that strange injury, and still young enough to play at a high level.

And while Fin-O is right, ah, let em hate.

Machiavelli pretty much nailed it. His replacement played much better. Sort of like Bowen outperforming Spears in Dallas.

Hey, it’s your team. Build it how you want. But I hope you looked at more than just sacks surrendered when paying $10m for him.

Honestly he was pretty much free. I used the money I saved from cutting Manning to get him. I didn't have a lot of options, but this is not one I'm upset with by any means.

I think both points are valid. He's not worth 10MM+, but at the same time, what the heck else are you going to blow all that cash on? I'd look to target a guy to groom on the left side though, especially with all that is invested in Peyton.
