I've got about 3 Dolphins forums voting on this one. Some people are saying that after Pat White they don't want to risk another pick on a scrambling QB.

You guys are splitting hairs. 2300 career yards and 40 INT's to 21 TD's is technically better than 2200 yards and 45 INT's to 18 TD's but both are still terrible.

Correct, some teams came close, but the general consensus is that so far no team's fans really want to take the risk on a guy like Newton.
I can understand the fans of other teams not taking Newton, because they chose players of other positions... but taking Mallett over Newton is borderline insanity. Less you all forget, I'm the one that was parading around the forum preaching Ryan Mallett!!! He's not better than Cam Newton. Period.
