Be prepared to be angry, another team that we beat strait up, but in terms of youth on the roster, 1sr year in scheme, and bad refereeing, we come up short...
I'm with you. I wouldn't ask for a second kick in the balls and I won't watch Dolphin losses twice. For those of you who like studying losses as if fans knowing what went wrong will have any impact on future success of failure, enjoy.
i was pretty happy with the effort Henne had that day .... he held his own against Big Ben, and even moved around a bit ... if we got that effort consistently with just a slight improvement -- i'd be satisfied with that.
I usually agree MB and that's why I mentioned "if you want". I, especially, would never watch a replay of a loss during the same season. That really nauseates me. However, once enough time has passed, such as the next year, and the pain has subsided a bit, it is sometimes interesting to watch certain aspects of the team. Such as, I was interested in seeing Henne and how he really played and if it was in fact the staff and the play calling that was holding back, etc. It's not like that hasn't been endlessly discussed here. I actually only watched it for a few minutes.
Hope you didn't take offense, Sceeto. Wasn't really aimed at you. More my good buddy GMJohnson who took a little jab at DolfanJake. But it was tongue in cheek and wasn't meant as an insult to him either. I just really cannot watch losses twice. Honest to god, I well up a bit if I watch the Youtube clips from the Dolphins loss to the Chargers in the playoffs back in 95. ****in' Stoyanovich...
It;s game like these that makes me believe there should be fines for referees blowing calls like this.
Yeah we got hosed on the call. IAF had the fumble in the EZ. Plenty of chances to win that football game I saw enough of it the week it happened No need to put myself through it again now.
Nah no insults, I can understand why Fin fans wouldnt want to watch a loss twice. Maybe I'm just wierd like that. I go back and watch all our games at least a few times if I have time, GameRewind is the ish. I like to have as clear a view of what actually happened as possible, and that's impossible for me to do if I only see the game once. Plus Im just a football junkie...
No offense taken at all my man. I didn't take it that way and I agree with you. I was just sharing that thought. I just saw it coming on, so I threw it out there. I was a bit interested to watch Henne. I only watched it for a few minutes anyhow. As for Stoya in 95...I hear ya'
Explain yourself please. I see no humor in that and as a fan I believe you should respect that. I take losses seriously and see no reason to troll and harass me on this message board.
Its important to understand why we lost these games to somewhat accurately project what kind of team we are, how far are we really from being the team we want, and what we have at the QB position...After the first 3 games of the season last year, I can tell you that imo, strait up, were a better team than the bills, vikings and Jets, even though we had 1 loss at that point, the loss in the column is just a number, an empty number relative to what kind of team were gonna be next year..I say that because the cause of the loss was due to unfamiliarity, and really poor play and coaching by people who are not on our team anymore, and a couple that I hope will not be on our team next year..If we can get simple competence from those areas where we were unacceptable, were gonna be a team that completely shocks people considering the country's perspective of us... If we have an offensive draft that hits in all the right places, we may just shock a whole lot of mother grabbers.. Iam much more confident about our team for next year at this point after studying the first 3 games..That may change, but right now thats how I feel.
