Deej mentioned that VY looked out of shape in his review of gm #9.

I do not trust him as a passer, the flicker of the ball is rarely successful, its good for touch, but eventually it will kill you..If you look at him, then you tell tell him to get in the best shape as possible, because you want him to be what he was in college, and you design your offense accordingly, if he has some epiphany that HE wants to be anything else but that, than i'am not interested..

I'am fine with Henne because I'am not giving up picks for the guys that are available.

Who cares how good of shape VY's in? The guy doesn't have the mental capacity to make it as an NFL QB. He's proven that time and time again.

I live in TN, and this article does as good a job as any at explaining Vince and what happened there. ESPN doesn't tell you this kind of stuff though...(except Skip Bayless surprisingly):

    http://burgundyblog.com/post/5367586151/vince

The above article actually leaves out the Miami game too. Vince was "hurt" but came in after Collins went down and looked 100% running around on his "hurt" leg. The local+national media naturally blasted Vince for "being soft" and not starting, but then after the Redskins game/debacle, the truth was revealed that Vince had "begged" to play against Miami, and once again, Fisher wouldn't let him. (BTW, one of Vince's 3 INTs this year came on a hail mary in the MIA game)

Also, touching on the "flick" being good for only touch throws, even the Titan fans that hate Vince will tell you he throws one of the best deep balls in the game. Early in his career, he had some trouble with intermediate/short ones, but he's improved drastically (as shown by the numbers and the eye). PFF published some interesting numbers on the deep ball this year (note VY and Henne)--
