Well, he should have went to the CFL imho, or believe it or not, the AFL, as in the CFL he would have gotten playing time after he paid his dues, in the AFL the field is so compact that decisions must be made very quickly and balls have to be thrown into tighter windows, the UFL is a sort of a half way step.

And only 2 Qb's have made the jump back to the NFL from the UFL, Kyle Boller and JP Losman and both Qb's had plenty of NFL starts before making it back to the league.

UFL? You sure you don't mean MLB? Wasn't Pat's passion baseball? This can't be right. His passion is baseball, not football.

Is the ball smaller than the NFL ball ? If it is and he is allowed to use gloves he may have better results.

How appropriate that you use two incredibly crappy QBs as a point of reference.

Could be the only person here who has a problem with a guy quitting vs top-level competition, yet being stubborn enough to not try a position switch, try another sport, quit that, to then come back to the original sport, only this time against second/third-tier competition.

Waste of talent IMO. I really believe he could have still played in the NFL had he switched to WR or spell player in some creative system [like...NE :crapstrom:]

Nah, I cannot begrudge White the choice of his professional position, if he really believes he is a Qb then by all means, let him have a shot, I'm not thrilled with the idea of White going to a 4 team league, to me, he should also realize he needs Starts against better competition, not that the UFL is all bad mind you, but they are close to turning the lights off.

Hope the kid does well, at least he can play QB there. He may be a nice kid, but he's not to smart. Just like Eric Crouch (Nebraska), too damn stubborn to know that they couldnt play QB in the NFL. These kids took their ego's side and that's why their not in the NFL now.
