You do realize that they're in the trophy case for being "THAT" bad don't you? It's kind of like a please don't do this thing............what everyone tells Sam is another thing, but you get the idea. This is Sam we're talking about,...........not someone like SICK, Lucky, Byroan or even the guy who signed up for an account and left after 3 days............it's Sam.
Make no mistake where you are Until it's over and done.... One way or another. Only if you want it to be Fun thread. SB keep doing what you do.
Considering this thread is 5 pages long, it has to be the longest Kenny Loggins thread in the history of the interwebs.
No! No sir! I will defend your and my and anyone elses' RIGHT to say..nothing at all...I may find it vapid,...but will defend your right to say nothing at all with my life!
Wasn't a big Loggins fan, but I do remember Loggins being played at my HS Prom. It was the song "What a fool believes", and there I saw Joey Levin and Cheryl Goldenblatt dancing to it. They were the "power couple" in my class at Coral Park, and I knew (as did others) that they were cheating on the other one, but keeping it from each other (miraculously) and I was thinking to myself, 'what an appropriate song for them to dance too',
Now I do miss those. Used to go to the one on Bird Road and near 79th Ave. The one in front of the Best Buy. Also miss Boston Market. Of course I also miss Lums. The one on Bird, near Red Road.....and Taco Viva at Bird and 63rd, and Church's Chicken at Bird and 65th, and O'Rourkes Pub at Bird and 70th, the Mr. Donut at Westchester Shopping Center, and Oscar's Subs on Coral Way & 87th Ave, next door to the Winn-Dixie. Sigh.....enough arguing about the Fins.....nostalgia time !
A blue sequined frock with pink taffeta underlining, 8 inch stiletto heels and a big multi-colored feathered boa. Just my typical around the house gear.
Maybe. I hear you're the front runner though...........the 8 inch stiletto's give you an advantage. That, and the fact you're willing to sleep with the judges to get some good marks. *****
ME ?!?! On stage ?!? In drag ?!? Here at home is one thing, but in public ?!? I don't think the world will ever be ready for that.
Closest fit I could find from the era and genre would be Dan Fogelberg's "Part of the Plan" though lesser known, to those lesser than forty-somethings. I have these moments All steady and strong I’m feeling so holy and humble The next thing I know I’m all worried and weak And I feel myself Starting to crumble. The meanings get lost And the teachings get tossed And you don’t know what you’re Going to do next. You wait for the sun But it never quite comes Some kind of message comes Through to you. Some kind of message comes through. And it says to you... Chorus Love when you can Cry when you have to... Be who you must That’s a part of the plan Await your arrival With simple survival And one day we’ll all understand...
Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald co wrote What a Fool Believes. Loggins recorded a version of the song solo and The Doobie Brothers including McDonald recorded a version of it, Both were successful but the latter was more so. Several other well known artists also did a cover of the song, such as Aretha Franklin and Dionne Warwick.
Loggins and McDonald didn't write all The Doobie Brothers songs. Loggins was never a member of the band and the band existed successfully for 5-6 yrs before McDonald joined them.
None taken, you are right. Kenny Logging is no Queen. Now there's a band some football fans can really "get behind." LOL
Turned out to be more fun than I thought Killer. Although not my original intent, some of the comic relief has been welcome.
Hard to believe you don't know this KM. Kenny was the inventor of logg ins to computer sites. If not for him, we may not be talking on this forum.
