I believe It was around two weeks ago where I heard welker say that they hadn't spent one practice of any sort together..

I'am not saying its some great advantage, these practices are limited on many levels i'am sure, but I think the team that has done it for about 3 months now, it sure can't hurt, and it may help on some levels of importance.

That's what I get for talking to a sympathetic (to Bernie) Hurricanes insider. I had no idea he was in over that much. That is quite a mountain to climb over. Oh well, he dug his own grave.

Maybe he wasn't there but I know that Tom Brady has been leading workouts.

I'm sure some of it is overblown or stretched to keep his wife from getting a bundle but it was reported he made some bad decisions.

I feel bad for him, and especially if he did this while under the influence.

what I'am sayin is , if he is leading workouts, then they just recently were organized, because up until about 2 weeks ago, none of the team had been together.

I have seen him at some alumni events but usually did avoid talking to him, because he always seemed like he was drunk. Glad to see though he has overcome his problem and is on the road to recovery. Is he still in the process of divorce or did that go through already ? Seems like its been several years since I heard about a divorce, but sometimes these things can take a while to get sorted out.

on the back sounding drunk as all get out. It is funny. Talking concusions, Troys chicken wing restraunt Bernies steak house ect.

The production on the field is not entirely reflective, good or ill, of the coordinator on the field. Dolphins fans of all people should know that given how many coordinators like Mike Mularkey, Norv Turner, and Dom Capers have been absolutely demonized in bad situations here and gone on to do so well elsewhere. There are frankly entirely too many factors involved, and unless you're going to sit down and study them, then you're as much guilty of taking your preconception and attaching as many surface-level facts to them as anyone else is.

Without a whole hell of a lot more work than anyone here is likely to do, we're basically at Daboll had bad offenses in Cleveland but good references, and then some tendency studies.

using a comparison from last year to this year, ''caution'' is not the appropriate word, the reference your using for Daboll being aquired is extreme when you figure the state our offense was in last year.

I don't think that Daboll doing a better job is outlandish..I think its quite reasonable.

Peyton Hillis is overblown. 3.8YPC the second half of the year once teams realized the Browns WR's sucked hard. 3 different starting qb's, constant changing of personnel, no continuity, no real opportunity to develop chemistry, lack of skill position talent..the list goes on. You could be the worlds best offensive coordinator but you still need everyone to work together and develop some comfort level. That never happened for Cleveland last year. How do all these things look so bad and the stats aside from scoring look ok? Because Daboll did more then some are giving him credit for in terms of his playcalling.

Initially I was not sure of the hire but he definitely deserves at least some chance to show what he's got.
