I am always surprised at how obsessed some of you guys are with jersey numbers. As long as nobody's got #13, I don't really care who wears what number.
I still have a hunch that Clay will get a chance to compete for carries. He seems to have a lot of Peyton Hillis-type qualities and I wouldn't be surprised if Daboll tries to duplicate "his" success with Hillis, which is arguably the only notable success he has had as an OC.
33 for thomas?!!??! YES!!!! (my favorite number) Last person who wore that number in miami DECENTLY was abdul-jabar
On Twitter he said he has 31 "for now". Mike Pouncey also said he only chose 63 because it was what was left. He's planning on changing his number after camp. I'd say stay tuned on everyone before you go out and purchase one.
Clay should take 45 IMO. It'll be kinda weird seeing a #33 at TE/split out wide sometimes. But then again, we had RB's and fullbacks split out there all last season so then again maybe not..
I expect Reggie to get #25 as it'll be a huge seller. I've already requested mine from Wifie for my Birthday in Aqua once it's settled what his number is...
It would be cool if carpenter gave him #5, like he was at USC. Maybe it would bring some of that magic
