There is no disrespect for Marshall or the disorder he has...it is disdain for the way Kelly baited folks on twitter in the middle of this FA frenzy that bothers people...shame on Omar for using Marshall's illness to get hits on twitter...most everyone was expecting the announcement of [fill in the blank] player being signed...

I think this is really sad. Really saddens me that people suffer, whether its Marshall or John Doe on the homeless streets. I hope he gets all the treatment he needs to live a normal and happy life. Football is a different story at the moment.

On a side note, what a douchebag Omar Kelly is for hyping this up. He really rivals Jason Whitlock for the biggest dumbass reporter.

In the middle of FA, that tweet was intended to garner more hits for him...nothing more. He's done it before. Yes, it's a big deal and a good article, shame on Omar for using Marshall's illness for his personal gain...rather than simply reporting an important insight into one of the players he covers...

    "I'm a big boy homie".
If that's not an exhibition of professional journalism at it's best then I don't know what is.

    Ricky saves the day.

BTW, I can see why people are upset about him calling it Big News. He should've said "Important news" or at least been a bit more clear that it didn't have to do with FA. We should've known it didn't have to do with that anyway. It's 2011, real BIG news concerning Free Agency travels quickly, ESPN would've broken something if it had to do with a signing. It is Big News for him though, since he got the scoop on a story featuring a high profile athlete that nobody else did.

Anyone that has ever has or had to deal with someone that has BPD knows this disorder is no joke. It is an emotional disorder with compulsive behavior that also affects everyone around the person. Not uncommon for someone with BPD engage in suicide attempts. Or for those in relationship to feel threatened (puts the wife-knife incident in perspective). Good to hear he gets treatment. Even treated BPD is no picnic, but left untreated BPD is a relationship killer...with self and others.

Explains that episode Brandon had during a Denver Broncos practice where he refused to run, let balls drop off his hands, kicked a ball away from a ball boy before he could get it, etc.

Frankly, Omar Kelly is small stuff compared to the ego, attitude, and general disdain the mainstream media has for its followers.

Well hopefully he can transform that into Goalline personality disorder this season.

Really though, its a hard thing to get through, but hopefully he can really get some good treatment and maybe help his game out a little.

People don't get married to someone who has BPD by accident. I would bet the house his wife grew up in a pretty dysfunctional home herself.

Great, our #1 WR just got mind****ed by some shrink. I don't believe in anything that can't be treated. Especially off of a behaivoral diagnosis. Have they even run an MRI to match it up? Do they even have a definite MRI matchup system in place? Sounds like some vague schizo/bi-polar stigmatizing bull**** to me. Beat that rap Brandon, get a second, third, fourth opinion. Plus, he's an NFL football player, he has reason to be psychotic and untrusting. I don't know man, I smell a Brave New World rat.

Borderline Personality Disorder is one of my areas of interest and I know just how difficult it can be to treat and all I have to say is wow! Hoping he gets the right treatment with a therapist that he can trust who is well versed in some of the treatments for BPD. This is a little suprising to me. Men aren't usually diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. In fact, its extremly under diagnosed amongst males. And the fact that there are those who make light of the situation or are using it for their own personal gains is truley disgusting to me.
