Ricky Williams, JT, sheesh we are putting the band back together..

Anywho, with Chad Henne having self esteem issues, and Brandon Marshall living with BPD, why not sign Williams to be a sort calm, comforting presence in the locker room who can counsel those two and backup Daniel Thomas?

Looks like Ricky will be waiting longer though, apparently most teams feel set at RB (we shouldn't feel that way). He could really help keep Bush fresh.

When I heard they were looking at Tiki Barber the first thing I thought was why don't they just resign Ricky?

I dont see it happening. Ricky burned those bridges last year with his comments about the staff. I just don't see them bringing him back. I think its a good idea to do it though.

It's not like Ireland and Ross have exactly given Tony Sparano glowing endorsements....

I asked Omar about this, and he seemed to think Ricky still had enough issues of his own to worry about without serving as a counselor.

    Don't get me started Padre.

When I read they brought in Barber for a look see I almost joined the dark side.

Last year they carried 5 RB. I would guess they want to evaluate what jobs Bush, Thomas, Sheets, Hilliard and Grigsby can do before before making any moves.

They brought back Taylor, and he burnt bridges worse than Ricky.

I remember this from last year .... Sparano was walking by Ricky at a practice late last season and he said were gonna need a carry for 20 yards this week , and Ricky shot back , as long as I get more than 6 carries that won't be an issue .... toueffinche !

Ross used dynamite to blow up the ****ing bridge to Tony Sparano and still brought him back. Burning bridges is what we do. If we were as good at winning football games as we are at burning bridges, we'd win the ****ing Super Bowl.

I don't think that Ricky is the answer at running back because he just doesn't have it anymore, to be a quality back in the NFL. As far as the staff not bringing him back because of his comments last season. He was doing nothing but telling the truth, and it appears that Sparano just can't handle the truth.

I hope you're right. I'd like to see Ricky with the all-time yardage crown.

Eh, JT said pretty much the same stuff RW when last season was over the only difference is no one made a big deal out of it.

I'm not thrilled with what Ricky did as I believe it was timed and designed to get Sparano fired, but this is a new yr.

I think there are better options out there. Ricky is getting old, and definitely lost a step. I'd surely take him over Tiki Barbarino though..

We generally keep 4 RBs and 1 FB, so drop Sheets and add Polite.

Padre, Pappy, Compadre, why just a few hours ago in another thread, I suggested Ricky and you said you would rather Portis. I'm surprised so soon to see you start a pro Ricky thread. :confused2:

Where are your twitter practice threads, Padre? I'm much more interested in those.

Really? I'll start one, but keep in mind Armando is only doing his via his blog and it is packed with posts and not information, so basically down to OmarK and Andy Carter and they are not very detailed.

Ya. I thought they were excellent, dude. I've hopped on Twitter myself recently and have tried following. I noticed that about Armando's feed. I hate it.

It was a good way for us to get details on the practices. Apparently Henne had a nice practice tonight, along with Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas. The DB's got roasted I per Andrew Carter.
