A friend from Pa told me to watch out for this guy at TE. He was a WR at Penn State, and is 6'5" and 248. I know nothing of the guy, other than he has a great name.

    A little help?

From what I've heard he has beefed up to 248, is in the 4.6 range, and being played at TE. Again, I know little, other than from a friend who played at PSU.

Seems like good raw material to work with, and coming from PSU he will have been well-coached.

Maybe PS material, maybe a surprise who can use some speed to go down the seam. Either way, Great name.

he was mentioned sometimes in practice, he had his moments, will see if ireland´s trend continues to find a UDFA that makes the 53 roster, the lights will come on soon, like sparano said, some guys have impressed him, the next step will be if they can take it to the game

We need something at the 2nd TE. Last year was about as pathetic as it could get.

Amen. But let's not pretend that Fasano is any great boon to the team. He has two-by-fours for hands and is covered more than Lloyd's of London clients.

Completely disagree on Fasano. He only had 2 drops all of last year, a great average and YAC, and one of the best blocking TEs in the league. Watch out for him this seasom with Daboll, who uses the TE more.

OT- Can anyone tell me what the rep power, to the left of posts mean. I see you got a 749, and I got an 86. I haven't a clue if that is a good or bad thing. Is lower or higher better?

It means I'm almost 8X better than you.

j/k...Higher means you have more activity; lower means you have more of a life.

the higher the better, havent really figured out myself how it gets higher actually, but i think more posting and receiving fist pumps will raise it

Fasano is pretty underrated. His problem is that he doesn't have great speed, so he can't be used to defeat shell coverage. But he does have reliable hands and is arguably the best blocking TE in the league. We also were spoiled in our introduction to Fasano in 2008, when we had top notch QB play and a legitimate receiving threat next to Fasano. We haven't bothered to get those two elements back, so Fasano suffers as a result.

Fasano's due for a good season, and I think he'll have something resembling one. But he can't throw himself the ball.

LOL. I would have to dispute the 8X better :) but, really could care less. I've seen posters care, a whole lot, about their post count as well, and never understood it.

Omar said that Brackett is really good at beating LBs to the seam, but that he had no idea if he could block.
