I can't see any additional impact moves being made. It looks like we have what we have, for better or worse. Last year, I thought we would win 10 games. The woulda, shoulda, and coulda's don't matter. We were what our record showed, and it was very disappointing to all Dolphans. This year, the off season was a public relations disaster, which will have little or no effect on the play on the field. I believe we have improved, and I can't say that I have seen many teams who have based on additions and subtractions. I have to stick with my 10 wins again for this season. What are your expectations compared to this time last year?
I say 9-7 just like I predicted last year. I also say Henne throws more TDs than INTs this year. Though in the offseason I also said if Henne started every game we'd make the playoffs, and if he started every game and we didn't make the playoffs I'd give thePhins $20.
If Henne throws more TDs than INTs, and throws at least 20 TDs, I think we have a chance to win 10 games. But that's a big IF though. I've been saying it for awhile now, but if Henne can just get that TD/INT ratio past 1, it will make all the difference.
Barring a defensive collapse, if Chad Henne has a ration like that we win 11 games imo. But that also hints to a conservative season. Ill go 24/13 WC team.
last year I had us going 10 -6 and we went 7-9 so I will use the reverse so i wont jinx us. 6-10 is what I m predicting because our wr corp is in trouble if Marshall misses any time Bess has impressed me but I just do know about Hartline. we have a lousy qb situation and Henne is our best option so while we made paralell moves the jets and Bill got better and the pats are still good and could be better. the flip side is this. our defense will keep us in games and if we learn to get the ball into the endzone then I will say we have improved. i think the lower of the win/ loss scale is 6 at worst and the best we can do is 10 wins but I will take a 9 win season for this year.
I see 5-11 or at best 7-9. Maybe I am a pessimist, but having questions at RB (though I think D Thomas will develop into a fine RB), uncertainty at the QB position, and less time to prepare for the season combined with a new offensive coordinator does not give me any confidence in the offense. I am curious to see how Daboll's play calling is though. It has to be better than Henning's. It will be the defense that keeps us from being a total disaster. Hopefully I am totally wrong with my prediction, though. A playoff win would be nice.
I'll be optimistic and say we win one playoff game. I think we improved because we got back healthy players we missed last year, made a few good moves, D is a year older. By the way, The Jests did NOT improve. They went backwards a bit. Not sure where you got that. I'm also not sure how fat Albert and #85 makes the Pats any more scary than last year. They beat us pretty good last year. We have a better chance this time around.
