Did I get anything wrong? What would yours look like? I do think our Defensive line is amazingly stacked, sort of at Cb at well, Oline at the deeper positions is muddied.
I'm curious as to how playing time will be split because of the lockout, a new O, and the new practice limitations. It's a tuff call.
I do not think we will see the starters play very much at all SB, I suspect they will have maybe 3 series, then be pulled off of the field completely simply because the guys behind them have to be sorted through so quickly so time won't be wasted giving guys reps who really have no shot at making the club.
IDK why JT wouldn't play the Will during the preseason, to me that would make more sense then having Trusnik as our back up Will.
I can see that on D Padre. Not sure on the OL and Thomas on O. I think they can use some extra work together.
I love our whole defense except for the S position. On offense the only unit I see as a strength is WR.
I would say McDaniel and Odrick could start elsewhere on good teams. There are a few others who could be fill-in starters, but that's about it.
I think Merling would start for a 4-3 team, W Allen, if healthy, and maybe Carroll. Edds "may" prove to be another. I like him "almost" as much as Padre. That's a heck of a lot of backup talent for a team to have in this day and age.
Jones may surprise this year. That is uou only position in question, and there is no team with fewer.
During his presser yesterday Sparano indicated that some starters may not play at all tomorrow night. I'd be surprised if Bush, Marshall, Bess, Bell, Wake, Davis and Dansby make more than a cameo appearence.
