Hey everyone - I know these are always a bit lame and rarely read - but eh what they hey? I was originally from Eastern PA - and my Cowboys fan father raised me and my siblings that being an Eagles fan was unacceptable, even though they were the hometown team. Consequently - we couldn't steal his fandom either. As a 6 year old or so, I did the next most logical thing... Pick the team with the coolest uniform! I remember thinking the Vikings purple was pretty cool...and for some reason I liked the Patriots uniforms. None the less, nothing could compete with the orange and aqua. (Thank god I dodged that Patriots bullet...though the last few years growing up as a fan would have certainly been more pleasant haha). I sometimes wish I could have been around more for the Marino era - but at least I got to suffer through the Williams saga first hand? Anyway - I've since relocated to NC...the upcoming panthers preseason game tickled my fancy enough to register. I'm wishing it was here in NC though, so I could finally get to my first "real" game (as if preseason really meets that criteria anyway?). Either way, I've been a long time lurker, getting most of my team info and dirt from you guys on this very site. Its actually become a bit of an addiction. I by nature over analyze everything - video games, hobbies, etc. Feeding the addiction keeps bringing me back haha...Hopefully I can contribute some in return with time. Anyway - I guess that covers it for an intro - thanks to everyone who makes this an awesome and informative community as is...even thanks to the trolls who help feed the fire from time to time! Heres to a good 2011 season!

Another NCer, welcome to the site. I've lived in NC my entire life and a lot of my friends like the Panthers, and they of course know my team is Miami, so that always makes the games against the Panthers interesting. That and I follow/watch a good amount of Panthers so have a good idea about their team and players. Luckily Miami is 4-0 against them in the regular season so I've held the bragging rights.
p.s. - I live in Charlotte NC, relocated here from South Florida 3 years ago. Moving back to Florida early 2012 however

Lets hope that goes 5-0 tomorrow =D ...I'm hoping the panthers are at least fun to watch this year. Always bummed me out that they got the local game on the channels...and regardless of win or lose, it was hard to even enjoy it as a good football game haha. *cliche thanks!* Haha - I wish I was in the Charlotte area rather than Raleigh....seems like it has alot more going on in general. Most people who were there and here all seem to prefer Charlotte. Enjoy SFlorida when you're back. A northerner like me, suffering in NC heat...I cant imagine living down there haha. Thanks, but....you mean we cant just flame everyone constantly? I thought thats what the internet was for!? ...I'm hoping!
Yeah I think they'll be a lot more entertaining this year, though I don't think playoffs like some of their optimistic fans are saying. Losing Gettis for the year hurts. NC heat has that good ol' humidity thing going for it to make you feel even worse.
