No one's in shape. Notice the rash of major and minor injuries this week? We're actually one of the healthiest teams in the NFL, though we did have to sub out starters (Davis, Smith) due to cramping and such. Blame the lockout, not training camp. Edit: and just as I write that, Marshall goes down.
welp......not sure what to make of this one.....other then Brady and the Pats look great on O. They need to worry about their D though.....
I'm way too tired to go back and check, but I'm pretty sure that Henne has only thrown two TDs in a game without an accompanying INT once, and even tonight fate is against him.
With all the problems tonight people still can't help but try to create some kind of Chad Henne drama that isn't there.
HENNE SUCKS!!! He threw a INT. I'm glad that Henne had a great game I've supported him all along and knew he could do it
Henne's line tonight... 30 - 49 416yds 61.2pct 8.5YPP 7 rushes 59yards 2 TDS 1 Int 93.6..... Wonder why his rushing TD does nothing to his QBR? Had a 103 rating until that Int
I don't care how good Brady and the Pats offense is, that was a pathetic effort by the defense. They should be ashamed. Henne played well, though his inaccuracy reared its head a few times. I'm encouraged by his willingness to throw down field and move up into and out of the pocket to make plays. Reggie Bush was mediocre. Marshall and the receivers were good. Hopefully Marshall is ok. Incognito was terrible. I was unimpressed with the interior of both lines. Special teams was mediocre. So all in all it was pretty much the same as last year, just with the roles flipped as far as the offense and defense.
That last play showed how ridiculously dumb this team is. Chad Henne is a 4th year QB. He doesn't know that with no timeouts left and an injury that there is not only a 10 second runoff but also the clock starts automatically as soon as the injured player goes off the field! Regardless of the score, that is pretty bad to be sitting there talking with players while the clock is running down from 16 sec.! This team is so non-detail oriented (or else they emphasize the wrong details) they are unbearable to watch.
Looks like it. The real issue is that Jeff Ireland was negligent in acquiring free agent DBs. There were a plethora of quality guys out there, both safeties (needed) and corners (highly desirable). Tom Brady likes negligence, he throws into it.
