We have no problem moving the ball into the redzone but we cant score. This is the same problem we have had for years. We have no red zone execution. The offense doesnt have the kill attitude. This is why we settle for FG. Defensive adjustment is horrible. We dont make any and that keep tearing us apart. Every TE kills us. This is the most frustrating team especially with the talent we have. Also the Line is horrible. Colombo sucks he keeps killing Henne, why do keep getting these cowgirl retread.:angry::angry::angry::angry:

Not to mention I noticed Sparano fist pumping field goals again.

Not giving coaching a pass, but the issues are beyond that. Its way to easy to point to a fall guy. Its a multitude of cascading factors. I just feel bad because i don't want to rebuild again, but that is what is and needs to happen.

I agree and i dont want sparano or Ireland back regardless of how many games we win . because if we keep him then this will sesurface again later. lets get this over with and find a real head coach and a real gm.

100% agree. Watching Belicheck mind-f us made this crystal clear to me. The O-Line is indicative of how bad Sparano is.

Watching Belicheck HBO Documentary you can clearly see the difference in his way coaching compared to Sparano. He settle for nothing but perfection yet sparano settle for being mediocre. He actually uses Sparano as a example when he said "the road through the AFC east runs through Miami." He showed that to team during their meeting before playing the dolphins. They killed us that game.

I don't agree that we need to rebuild. Obviously we need more pieces but there is plenty of talent on this team. The coaching is terrible.

Agreed. Outside of Long, Wake, Starks, Pouncey and Marshall I wouldn't be terribly upset if we had a complete roster turnover.

Sparano is not calling the plays in the red zone and it isn't Sparano that isn't executing. Not saying Sparano isn't part of the problem, but this is a total TEAM fail!

I don't think we need a alot of rooster turn over to have a very competitive team. I do not look forward to rebuilding this team yet again.

And yet Long is giving up sacks, Wake is not getting much pressure on QB and Marshall is dropping TDs passes at a rate that makes Ginn Jr. look like he had hands.

I agree with this. Tony is only a part of the problem. Yes, the talent on the team has been mismanaged by the coaching staff, the preparation sucks, and this year the team is not in top condition. However, the front office is a big part of the problem as well. Free agent busts and draft busts. The coaching staff didn't bring in a bunch of defensive backs that have poor ball skills. That was the front office. This coaching staff also didn't bring in linebackers that have trouble locating the ball. That was the front office yet again. Jeff Ireland seems to have an affinity for going after players he is familiar with. It's almost like he doesn't trust his ability to evaluate someone he hasn't been around when it comes to the pro level.

So, Tony shouldn't be getting all the heat here. Jeff Ireland, Brian Gaine, and the rest of the bunch that Parcells brought in should be getting some heat as well.

As an aside, I can't believe I let myself get caught up in the Parcells mania that went on. I let that first season fool me into thinking my first opinion on these guys was wrong. Before it happened, I was against Parcells coming in.

I disagree. We're losing because we're not as talented. Watching the Steelers game right now, and James Harrison makes a sack, strips the ball, Polamalu recovers and takes it for a TD. That's the difference. We don't have anyone that when the game is on the line makes a great play. In 2008, we had Chad Pennngton on offense & Joey Porter on defense. It seemed like every time we needed a big play one of those guys sparked us. We don't have anyone to do that for us right now.

Brandon Marshall has had opportunities and failed. Chad Henne has had opportunities and failed. The defense has had opportunities and failed, mainly Wake, the DB's.

When the game brings out playmakers and big time players we come up short in that aspect.

I think some people have a false sense of what teams do with their draft picks. This may be because the Patriots are so good and are in our division. Overall I think our drafting has been pretty good maybe not the best but better than alot of teams. . Not every draft pick is a home run.

I disagree. This is a talented team. Not as talented as Pittsburgh, but we do have way more talent than our record shows. It all starts with the coaching, imo.

Disagree, last week I did think it was on the coaching tbh, this week the players themselves did not perform

Carpenter missed a FG, BM dropped a TD pass, JT jumped offsides, that is performance not coaching,

Carpenter hits the FG, Bush does not fumble at their 19 yd line.

The defensive players are not winning their match-ups. Odrick is not doing anything special, Starks has been good, Wake has been less than stellar but still good, and no other defensive end or 3-4 DE has really done anything. Even when they are doing well to get pressure the CBs (a hurt Allen, a young Jimmy Wilson etc have not played well).

I'll tell you what, put Jimmy Wilson in at free safety he'll make some plays for you. That might give them a little edge on D.

I think the talent is there (we definitely need a better O-Line though), we just need a new coach. We were competitive with the Texans and Pats, both of which will be playoffs teams. What's cost us these 3 games are red zone offense, fumbles, and at times, penalties. These things fall on Sparano. He needs to discipline this team, and also stop having a party whenever we get field goals. If he can't turn it around, it's time for him, and those in the front office to go.

At some point people, you've got to stop making excuses for these guys and say the players have just stunk. Talented, yes, but talent is everywhere in this league.

I personally am not making excuses. The players haven't done their jobs at times as well. My point is that there is talent on this team and I don't see a need to knock it down and rebuild everything.

Wake is getting routinely doubled and held, he is holding up his end of the bargain. The issue is teams can game plan him into the ground because we have no one else that can consistently rush the passer.

This team has talent. Long, Pouncey, Fasano, Daniel Thomas, Bess, Marshall, Hartline, Dansby, Wake, Big Paul, Starks, Misi, Langford, Odrick, Vontae, Sean Smith, Carpenter and Fields are all legit starters on most teams in this league. We are not a barren wasteland of talent. Our issues are the same as they have been for over a decade.

No depth. The backend of the roster sucks. Any injury it seems is crippling, look at our secondary right now.

No finishers/playmakers on defense. Yes, Cam Wake is a great player but who else will finish a game for us? No one can make "the play" when we need them to, it's been like this on defense since the early 80's for **** sake. They can not bury teams when they have a chance. Our safety play is the key to this and Jeff Ireland TOTALLY ignored it this offseason, again.

Offensive line. It's been an issue in one way or another since the mid 80's. We either do one thing or the other thing well, never both. We always seem to have a major weak spot. I'm trying to remember the last good guard play (outside of half a season of Jamie Nails and Mark Dixon briefly) we've had. Center has been a pain in the *** for over a decade, Pouncey has fixed that. We've been ****ing around with the O-line for years and we STILL need two guards and a right tackle.

Quarterback. I like Chad Henne but he will sink with this ship and that is a shame. It's a crime what this "regime" has done to him. We still need "the guy".

And the guy you wanted as our coach is 3-0 right now and coaching the hell out of that offense.

Brian Gaine is, in my opinion, the most responsible for our mess. Our pro scouting has been a ****ing joke.

Speaking of playmakers on defense, after watching LSU the last few weeks, I want Tyrann Mathieu (or someone like him) on this team badly. The guy reminds me of Ed Reed in his uncanny nack for being in the right place at the right time.

Bess has a 1st down and runs back behind 1st down resulting in a punt. I thought Bess really struggled to get any separation today. A DL had him blanketed in the end zone resulting in a throw away.

    Hartline played well today.

The other BIG problem I haven't seen mentioned much on the boards is the 2:00 offense has been atrocious. The end of the game against NE, today's game, and the Pitt game last year come to mind. There is NO sense of urgency and our WRs cannot get any space. All we had to do was move the ball 10 yards to DC a shot at a game-winning FG.

That goes to preparation. This team is the worst situational football team in the NFL right now. This coaching staff has done a piss poor job of preparing this team to play. It has done a piss poor job of teaching the young players what they need to be doing. It has done a piss poor job of playing to the strengths of the talent at hand.

The main reason our pass d always sucks is because we refuse to draft a good safety our secondary is so bad atm we cant blitz this is the main reason we have no pass rush.

There has been too much focus on size and physical play by this regime when it comes to defensive backs, and there has not been enough of a focus on getting defensive backs who have ball skills. You have to be able to make a play on the ball, and our guys cannot do that.

    Back in Miami
    This bottom line...

This team is poorly prepared and it's obvious.

I'm not saying were a highly talented team like some are.
    We have holes.
I have seen more done with less talent than we have though.

The entire Parcells crew needs to go.
    Sparano is a poor HC.
Irleland, while he's done alright in drafts has shown to be a very poor roster manager and his FA acquisitions or the lack of in need areas have left much to be desired.

New leadership is needed once again.
