Won't load for me either. Here is another one that isn't quite as helpful: http://skyrim.iamnoah.com/

I made a few potions using the first site that sell for over 3,000. Problem is I have no one to sell them to. I am doing the boring jobs for Delvin and Vex so that my fences will have more coin, It takes forever though. I got two cities up and running so far, added an new fence, and each fence has over 2,000. When you finally get them all the cities set up with thieves guilds, each fence will have 4,000.

Anyone marry yet? I just did that tonight. I chose Muiri. She's cute and had no problems with hiring someone to kill 2 people. I like that in a woman  The only problem is that even though we are now married, she continually thanks me for whacking those two people for her. It's annoying. If it keeps up I might be looking for a Skyrim divorce - Dark Brotherhood style.

For those of you who are looking to use Alchemy as a way to supplement your gold supply, I recommend seeking out the "Return to your Roots" quest, which can be found in Blackreach. It's lengthy, but rewards you with a passive perk that gives you something like a 25% chance to double your potions when creating them, which can be quite lucrative when creating those high-value potions worth 2k to 3k apiece.

Both you and Bickety have mentioned potions worth over 1K. But when I go to that Alchemy Immersion site and list all ingredients it says the most valuable potion is 868 dollars. And when I used the site the first time the values of my potions were less than the site listed. So I guess my question is, how are you guys making potions worth this much? Are you getting a higher value because your alchemy skill is higher? Is the site using a conservative alchemy skill level to calculate values?

The site uses a base value. It's actually LESS than what my potions come out to be. My alchemy is 100 AND I have a bunch of perks, most notably I maxed out the first one so I get double strength potions. I am sure that is why mine come out so high.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it. It's hard to sell the high dollar potions. My fences have the most coin and even at that it's 2250. I have dozens of potions worth 1500 and up. It will day a long time to sell them all. Even if you can only make 500 coin potions, the ROI is still outrageous.

I hated that quest. Took me forever and I even had to cheat using a video on YouTube! I was ready to scream by the end.

On a side note, I sort of wish I didn't create the super armor and weapons. I can literally march through a dozen enemies by hacking and slashing without taking a scratch. Ancient Dragons, which used to be a royal pain in the ***, take 15 seconds to kill. I shout them down, whip out 2 daedra blades at 200 hp each, and whack away for 10 seconds at best. It's just way too easy now (never thought I'd say that). Last night I had a Thalmor soldier going to town on me. I didn't even defend myself. I shouted mark of death (or whatever it's called) at him and sat there while he slowly died.

I am going to start leaving the overpowered weapons at home.

The one negative comment I'll make about this game are the bugs I keep coming across. I'm very OCD in that if I start a quest I have to finish it. There's one stupid wench you come across in a spider web in some cave. You cut her down and you're supposed to help her leave. Problem is she stops at the foot of the cave and won't move. You can't get close enough to talk to her without exiting the cave. I searched the internet and some people shot her with arrows to make her leave, but that didn't work for me. Apparently a shout is supposed to do it, but I haven't killed any dragons yet. It shouldn't be a big deal, but it's driving me crazy that I can't finish that one stupid ****ing miscellaneous quest. I hate that woman so much. I'd kill her if I could, but apparently that won't make the quest go away.

Let me give you a warning then. There is a quest that you get from the owner of the White Phial in Windhelm. Actually it is a two part quest. The first one involves retrieving the Phial for the owner. No problem there. Once you retrieve it, you will eventually be called for a second quest. This quest requires you to gather 3 items, one of which is a Briar hear. If you HAVE a Briar heart in your inventory when you are given the quest, you are screwed. Even though you can retrieve one as part of the quest, it will not recognize it and to make matters worse, you are stuck with the original one in your inventory (quest items can not be removed). So bottom line, don't be walking around with a Briar heart in your inventory. I made the mistake and I have a quest I can not complete.

I am the same way as you. I hate looking at a long list of quests. I am always crossing them off my list by completing them. I have done a crap load of miscellaneous quests.

A note for anyone making "super armor"

For armor there is a cap of 80% damage reduction. This equates to an armor rating of 567. Anything above this combined armor rating is a waste and does not result in any further benefits or damage reduction. By combining Alchemy/Smithing/Enchanting and armor skills and perks, it is very easy to reach the 'armor cap' with low-level armor, such as Elven or Steel. This could be intentional, as it provides players with a way to be able to use armor they prefer the looks of without being easily killed.

So based on this information, you really don't need heavy armor if you don't want it. You could use the enchanted smithing armor you've created along with the 147% potion and get an armor rating of 567 on a set of light armor.

Looks like I'll be getting Skyrim for Christmas. I have been excited about playing this game and now with all the gloom and doom surrounding Barkley's decision to stay in school, I'm even more excited to have a diversion away from those sections of the site.

She only died on me once, and I went back to a save and redid the battle just so that she would live. She is the first follower I ever had and I would be bummed if she died :) I never use her any more, but I like knowing she is sitting in my vacation home in Whiterun. If I need a pack mule, I'll use one of the dark brotherhood trainees or the mage I helped at the College. I don't care what happens to them!

What was really cool was when I got married, Lydia and about 5 other NPC's that I have helped in the course of the game showed up for the wedding. I thought that was a nice touch.

I'm buying this soon. Does it matter whether I get it for PS3 or 360? I'm leaning heavily towards PS3 right now because I'm thinking it might have multiple discs on Xbox.

My PC wouldn't run it well. I'm going to have to pick PS3 or 360. This is going to be a tougher choice now without having to worry about extra discs.

I have heard that as well. Supposedly the way the ps3 saves data causes a problem thay creates a very laggy game that is unplayable. Although I have it on ps3 and havent experienced any problems after 55 hours of gameplay. I also havent installed any of the patches.

I've read it has issues on PS3 but I will say that during 1 quest I've done for the Thieves Guild it became unplayably laggy on 360, so take that for what it's worth. Other than that it has run fantastically... I haven't tried to finish that mission yet but will report back if it somehow magically became unlaggy.

My game has frozen maybe twice on 360 but I tend to save a lot anyway. I also tend to get myself stuck between rocks on the side of mountains where you can't get out or transport.. that's mostly my own fault though

So there is no way to have more than one follower at a time in this game? I'm on a Companion quest and one of the dudes came with me. My housecarl Lydia wouldn't come along because the other guy was coming.

I currently stand at just under 150 hours played, level 58, completed companion quest, bards college, thieves guild, mages quests, dark brotherhood and probably close to a hundred or so smaller quests. Still haven't fought a dragon. I'm just about at the point where I think I'm ready to finish the game despite feeling like I haven't even scratched the surface. I plan on cleaning up all active open miscellaneous quests and active quests, doing the civil war quest, finishing the game and putting it up for awhile. At least until downloadable content comes out.

Are there any other major questlines I should do?

Those are pretty much it. I did all the quests (except a couple which where broken, meh), got all the achievements, and then put about 20 - 30 hours into a new character.

But I stepped away, mainly because my wife was tired of seeing me play the game. I wanted to step back from it for a couple of weeks to a month so that if and when DLC comes out I'm not burned out and I have something to do.
