It would be awesome to go to New England on Christmas Eve and shock the world. LET'S GO DOLPHINS!!! Oh, and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you!
Merry christmas to you to Rock, Pod, all of our members, and cheers to the guys who give us this great site..It is the best in the field, and I'am grateful to call it home. Hey Mike Nolan..you think you can stop Brady one or twice on third down...You think we can play this new cutting edge concept called press freakin man on Wes welker.. For the life of me, I would like someone to explain to me why on earth wes welker is allowed to ever get a free release in this sport..?? Yeah, sure, let him come to you, so you can read his hips and trail..His hips should be insured for crying out loud...He made a catch last week that was simply extraordinary, with a little more extra on it...If VD doesn't get in Welkers ***, than something is wrong around here. Patriots really got up emotionally to play last week to play, I believe their playing for the home field throughout no?
I hope we see Wilson on Hernandez or Gronk, that dude is physical enough to do it well imo. One of the things the Pats show well is how "shut down Cb's" are not what they are cracked up to be, Pats just put Branch and Johnson out wide, never throw them ball anyway, what are you shutdown guys really accomplishing? Put WA on either one, VD on Welker.
Not trying to criticize Wilson's physicality when I say this, but I hope to ****ing high hell that Wilson doesn't have to cover either of them at any time, but especially not Gronkowski. Aside from being a fairly raw rookie, Wilson is 8" and 80 lbs smaller than Gronk and 3" and 60lbs smaller than Hernandez (while not being appreciably faster). Sean Smith is probably the best option we have for Gronk. Both guys are matchup nightmares though IMO.
Hopefully that means more of Charles Clay as Yeatman or Mastrud don't excite me... As for this one... Dec. 24th, 2000... towel gate... Miami 27 NE 24... Dolphins win the AFC East in Foxboro on a glorious Xmas Eve Day...
That "Towel-gate" had to the strangest clock management since the Russians beat the USA basketball Olympic squad years ago.
Shame Fasano is going to be out today, that's going to hurt us on offense more than likely. Merry Christmas to everyone though! Cant wait for some Saturday football!
Merry Christmas to you to bro! I think we've all wanted to see what Charles Clay has to offer, so in that way I'm somewhat glad he will have more run time with Fasano out.
Hope to give the Pats fans some turkey today with a Phins win... and a Merry Christmas to all and to all a Happy Holiday weekend!!!
I'm away from home and away from my Sunday Ticket this week. I'm trying to find out if this is being aired in the Florida panhandle but I'm not having much luck so far.
Interestingly enough, Matt Light and Vollmer are inactive, the Pats are going to start Solder and Marcus Cannon, who was highly thought of until he was diagnosed with cancer in college.
Yes, week 1 against the Pats, week 3 in Cleveland and week 4 in San Diego. We're in white jerseys and aqua pants today.
Put a few solid hits on Brady and the game will be close!! Knock the snot out of him, and there is a good chance to beat them...
Well, call me Scrooge, but I'm not expecting Miami to win today. But I do expect to see the defense be able to defend the Patriots offense better than they did in week 1. At the very least, hopefully Miami will have some pass-rush with the Pats not having Light and Vollmer.
Agree, not expecting a win today, but do want to see if the guys play hard, similar situation last yr and they folded the tent after 2TO's on our first 2 possessions and wound up being blown out. Think we can expect better then that this yr,
Heck, there are probably some college teams who could have defended the Patriots better than the Dolphins did in the first game this season. That particular game may be the worst I have seen a Dolphin defense play in years. I expect the defense to play better today, but I just don't see the Dolphins beating the Patriots in New England.
Got a strange feeling about this one. Dont know if its wishful thinking or what but I think we beat`em. MERRY CHRISTMAS.. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL
