I know I am getting way ahead of myself... again. Like I did following our 9-7 season, coming off a six-game win streak... expecting great things, only to have my hopes dashed. Like when Cam Cameron rolled into town to add a serious offense to our solid defense last year and I thought "Playoffs!"... only to feel crushingly empty by year's end. Yes, it's stupidly optimistic (again) to say it at this point... but I look at the awesome Offensive Line we are building, the power backs we have, and Parcells smashmouth style of physical play and I get excited. I get excited about seeing a return to the Dolphins running game that used to feature Csonka running OVER people with badass attitude, even when they were ready and waiting for him. Badass O-line + Ronnie Brown = Intimidating, Smashmouth Football So I am trying to think of possible nicknames for our (hopefully) new, a**kicking running game. Demo-Crew Aqua-Bomb Anvil (O-line) and Hammer (RB) Clydesdales (OL) and Plow (RB) Battering Ram Category 5 Sparano's 1st Symphony Five-Fingered Fist (O-line) Snotkickers (OL) Red Cross (because they take blood) The APC (Armored Personnel Carrier... because they take the running back through the D) The Marine Maulers (OL) The Buffet Kings (OL... okay, that one's more of a joke) Long's Louts (OL) The Horde (OL) Okay, most of those suck.. so show me you can do better...suggestions?
You forgot about Lighting Leon who toasts the Dolphins D. Yeah, our running game sucked last year, no doubt. Hopefully all the help on the offensive line will bring it into the top 10 this year. Sure couldn't be worse. BZ

Consider yourself lucky that you may only have to see Ronnie once this year. As for your acquisitions, you better hope father time isnt toast after another 1-2 seasons and Pace proves to be more then a one hit wonder. You guys threw money around like you just married britney spears for a weekend.

Ok, probably wasn't a cheap shot. Questionable though. Either way... Coles still is a great WR, the Jets won and Zach is off with the Cowboys trying to win a Super Bowl with a team that has a shot in the next few years. All good. BZ
How about "Bad-kneed and Got Weed". Not sure we should crown our running game just yet, Ricky hasn't shown much in the CFL or even when he came back last season, and Ronnie may not be fully recovered until the 2009 season. Give the OL a year to gel, Ronnie a year to recover, and hold this contest in a year from now, you'll get much better names.
