I missed tonight's episode to watch Nick Saban win...again.

Sounds like an odd show. I DID find the Brodus Clay entrance and have to think that this is the WWE trolling the internet again. It was like a weird combo of the Godfather, Flash Funk and PN News. Although I will say, I sort of enjoyed Clay calling out spots, and doing commentary on his own match. Not sure if it wa sintentional or not, but his personaility and loud, booming voice came through somewhat.

Jericho doing his schtick again was pretty good. They shortened it up a bit which I think helped, and th eaudience played their role correctly so it came off okay.

I read about the remainder of the show and Kane's stuff is absolute ****. Might be the worst of a bunch of sub-par storylines involving him. I may finally be in Finkle's camp about that character, which is too bad because he seems SO easy to write for. I had a big scenario that involved him and Raven that I thought would STILL play out nicely, if the WWE would just learn to downplay Kane a tad.

As for Dan Bryan, I am digging the subtle heel turn. His promo work drips with subtlety which can be lossed on some viewers, but it is amazing when given the chance. I would continue having him escape the Big Show by some form of cheating/one upmanship, but have him still continue to shake hands and say how bad he feels about how it ended, ultimately having him, in a disingenious way, tell Show that he is out of chances to win after beating him at the Royal Rumble.

I would then have Daniel Bryan do commentary for the Rumble match himself and casually put himself over during the commentary.

Have the ring pile up with people, I am talking the most amount of wrestlers in the ring at the same time in Rumble history. Then have Brock's theme hit, the entire ring stops fighting to look at the aisle, only to have their fears confirmed.

    Brock F'n Lesnar

Brock hits the ring, Bryan is dumbfounded at the announce table, stumbling over words while trying to maintain his composure about how "great" it is to see Lesnar back. Brock starts eliminating EVERYBODY. bodies to the left, bodies to the right, he is cutting through people like a hit knife through butter, stopping at nothing. He tosses the last guy out with ease and wins the Rumble. Without celebrating and without even looking into the hard camera, after he tosses the last guy, he immediately turns and stares at Bryan...who is now standing, holding onto his belt as tight as he can, trying to mask his insecurities about what just happened.

But I think the WWE is smart enough to know that they can't blow Lesnar's return at the Royal Rumble. His return should be a hyped one either on Raw or for Wrestlemania. And since they already have Rock to headline Wrestlemania, they probably wouldn't want to have Lesnar on the same card. I would also avoid putting him against Taker, especially if you plan on making money with Brock down the road. But how cool would it be to have a returning Rock, Jericho, Undertaker and Lesnar in your top four matches? Especially if they were against the likes of Cena, Punk, Bryan and say...Ziggler?

Let me know if you want to hear the Kane: re-masked idea I had, or the only way I would end UT's streak idea.

I know it's my "thing" to knock Kane and his character but he's been crap since he returned. Last night the stuff with him was just terrible. I mean I thought I was watching a crappy WWE horror movie instead of RAW. And not only that they're turning Zack Ryder into a non threat by running from him and being a goof for not being able to change a tire etc. Why even do this crap? Just have Kane come out and beat the crap out of random guys each week in an attempt to Cena to turn to the dark side? And please stop giving him a mike, he's bad on it. Having him paired with a mouth piece like Raven who "controls" him would have been perfect.

The whole storyline was crap to begin with. I mean, what was the meeting like.

Writer 1: Hey, we are gonna put the mask back on Kane, but we need a storyline for him.

Writer 2: Why not just have him feud with Mark Henry, since he was the guy who put him out of action.

Writer 1: Meh, that's too obvious. Let's try something different.

Writer 3: Hey, I know! Let's have Kane be like Palpatine and Cena be like Luke, and let's do a our own version of Star Wars!

    Writer 1: Brilliant!

You forgot the part where Writer 1 says to Writer 2 "hey let's give his character a bigger make over and keep it fresh, new and hip. Let's give him TWO masks, the fans will never expect that!"

Nice to see Edge and The 4 Horsemen (Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and JJ Dillion) make it into the WWE Hall of Fame. Obviously they're all deserving. Wonder who else will get elected this year, maybe The Rock since it's in Miami? Hopefully the Macho Man will too, as he some have been in about 15 years ago but that's politics for you.

Glad Edge is going in but thought he would go in the next time WrestleMania heads to Canada. BTW, will Flair be there if he is still with TNA...is he still with TNA? BTW Christian should induct Edge no questions asked...

I believe Flair is still with TNA, I'm sure the WWE will invite him though as they don't really consider TNA or Flair really a threat to hurt them business wise.

Both scenarios would consitute the WWE looking outside of their current roster, and into their past in order to pull of, but the payoff to both, I think, would be pretty awesome.

    KANE:

I think we would all agree that Kane was at his peak when he was a masked, silent monster who simply went to the ring, destroyed everything in his path and left his motivations to others. Meaning that Paul Bearer, Undertaker, X-Pac, or whoever were the mouth pieces, that, when called upon, were able to unleash Kane on whoever they deemed worthy of a quality beatdown. WWE decided that they could make more money, unmasking Kane and letting him speak. And while that may have been true to start, the character eventually became stale and lost his mystique. This whole premise is based on Kane still being unmasked.

Smackdown is in full swing one night when the camera pans the crowd and catches Raven sitting, not quite ringside, perhaps about 4 or 5 rows deep, but positioned in a way that he is clearly seen, although not acknowledged, in the crowd. The next match is Kane vs. whoever. Kane loses clean after 5-7 minutes, and looks perplexed/peeved as whoever beats him celebrates on the ramp.

The following Smackdown, Kane is once again wrestling, and holding his own. There is a commotion in the crowd, opposite of the hard camera as someone is making his way to his seat in the front row. It is Raven once again. The announcers again choose to ignore the familiar face since he is nothing more than a fan, at this point. Kane notices him and is confused as to why a former wrestler is sitting in the front row of a wrestling event. This acknowledgement is ONLY done by Kane who is then rolled up into a cradle and pinned once again. Kane is ticked, shoots a glare over to an emotionless Raven after the match, before stalking off to the back.

The week after that, Raven is in his seat at the beginning of Smackdown, as the opening camera work pans the crowd, he is once again clearly seen on screen and smirks as it whips past. He spends the rest of the show sitting in his seat, doing next to nothing until Kane comes down for an interview. During Kane's promo where Kane addresses his recent losing streak and his re-dedication to being the Big Red Monster, Raven is seen in the background, simply standing, the camera framed in a way that Raven is right over Kane's shoulder while he speaks into the hard camera. After the promo, WWE cuts to commercial.

Once returning from the break, security is around ringside in between Kane and the barricade. Finally the announcers acknowledge that Kane got into an altercation with a fan during the break, and that fan happens to be a former employee who goes by the name Raven. Raven is no longer seen at ringside, but WWE shows a *moments ago* video that shows what happened. Kane was walking around ringside, and stopped in front of Raven and asked him what he was doing there, Raven says nothing, despite multiple attempts from Kane to question him, instead opting to spit in Kane's face. Kane grabs Raven by the throat until security breaks it up and escorts Raven away from ringside, which is where we were when back from commercial.

That Sunday, during whatever PPV happens to be running, Kane is dominating in a match where the ref is knocked out cold. Raven immediately shows up out of the crowd, grabs a chair and DESTROYS Kane. Absolutely folds the chair on Kane's face, then follows it up with an evenflow DDT on top of the chair. Kane is busted wide open, gushing blood out of his head. His opponent wakes up, pins Kane after the ref recovers and walks out a winner.

Kane is left in the ring in a puddle of his own blood.

He isn't heard from for a month. Neither is Raven.

During a Smackdown match a month later, the lights go out, a familiar red light floods the arena and Kane's music hits. The pyro explodes and as the camera re-focuses on the entrance, we see Kane walking from the back, face covered with a mask and walking with a purpose to the ring. Raven following a few paces behind. The two wrestlers in the ring are confused and scared stiff as Kane enters the ring and chokeslams one and tombstones the other. He stacks the bodies on top of each other, makes the fire go off from the turnbuckles while Raven is standing ringside, slight smirk on his face. Fades to commercial.

Kane does the same thing the next week and afterwards, is stopped by a reporter who tries to ask Kane a question. Raven cuts him off and simply says, that Kane's voice is heard through his actions, and that he speaks in the ring. Raven looks at Kane who grabs the reporter and simply tosses him to the side as Raven and Kane walk off.

Kane is booked into a match the following week and wins with ease, choosing to end the match with a chokeslam, followed by a tombstone. Afterwards, Raven enters the ring, microphone in hand, slumps into the corner while Kane stands in the middle of the ring, looking down at the mat. Raven proceeds to tell the tale of how he saved Kane from himself.

For you see, Kane was right when he wore the mask. Kane was ugly, Kane was scarred and Kane was damaged. Somehow, through false friendships, and the WWE hype machine, Kane was brainwashed into thinking that he wasn't deformed, that he wasn't different. That he could make tons of money and people would love him for who he was. Those prophets were false, and Raven appeared to save Kane. To prove to him that he was different, he was scarred and to remember his pain. Which is why he destroyed Kane's face at the PPV. To remind Kane of who he was. A monster. A monster who is mad at the world for having shunned him, for forcing him to wear a mask as to not offend their eyes. Raven has shown Kane the light once again. Quote the Raven, nevermore.

At this point, Raven is Kane's mentor/manager/mouthpiece and has Kane do all of the bidding of Raven. Through various machinations, you could even get back to Kane trying to get Cena to embrace the hate...much like he did with Raven, but with Raven as the mouthpiece. And down the road, you could have a huge blowoff where Kane eventually turns on Raven after seeing him for what he really is.

    Just my idea, anyway.

    Ending the Undertaker's Streak

Let me first start off by saying that I am of the opinion that the streak SHOULD NOT end. It is oddly unique to Undertaker and to end it now would probably result in long term damage from promoting the streak, and Undertaker's legacy. However, if Undertaker insisted on ending it, or McMahon did, I would do so with the following scenario:

The beginning of the story arc would start immediately the night after Wrestlemania where Undertaker has deposed of another victim. Undertaker comes out to a huge pop, does his normal schpiel about putting another body in the ground at Wrestlemania, etc. etc. I would have him be very confident but still a face, playing to the crowd.

I would continue to have him do this for a few weeks until the crowd is sort of sick of Undertaker tooting his own horn. Eventually, I have Undertaker leaving the ring while someone like Sheamus/Dolph Ziggler/CM Punk are walking down to ringside for their match that is up next. They walk by Undertaker without much of an incident, yet Undertaker looks at them incredulous at the lack of respect he has been given.

The next week UT cuts a promo on the guy (let's just say Ziggler) and reminds Ziggle that he is undefeated at Wrestlemania, an icon and the Phenom. Ziggler comes out from the back, no music and looking very worried. He grabs a mic and tells UT that he has the utmost respect for him, has no problems with Undertaker and...true to his original Ziggler character...offers his hand to shake Taker's. Taker reaches out like he is going to accept, only to wrap his hand around Ziggler's throat and chokeslam him.

The crowd goes nuts, replays galore are showed and Ziggler is helped form the ring by various officials during the break. Ziggler cuts a promo the next week, again, being very deferrential to UT, only to draw UT out and once again, eat a chokeslam from The Phenom. The announcers start to question UT's actions at this point.

The next week, Undertaker just blatantly attacks Dolph, who is stretchered out. Undertaker goes on and on about how the lack of respect is what led to this and that Dolph has no one but himself to blame. His own actions caused this. Undertaker is suspended by the GM for a month due to this attack.

Ziggler goes on to other fueds for the time being, vowing to put this episode behind him...but not to forget. Undertaker comes back from suspension, only to attack and injured another wrestler (say, Kofi Kingston) over a lack of respect. Taker continues this for a few weeks, attacking wrestlers for no real reason and chalking it up to their previous actions leading to this, etc. This gets Undertaker suspended for two more months (the reason for the suspensions are to help preserve UT's old, beaten body since he never works a full schedule anymore).

After THAT suspension is up, Taker makes his return well after the two months is up (basically pouting over having been suspended), missing appearances and generally making the fans unhappy since the card now has to change since he no showed. He eventually DOES show up at Summerslam where Ziggler is wrestling for the WWE title. The lights go out, and when they come back on, Taker is in the ring, Ziggler already in the position for the tombstone, with a chair underneath him and gets planted, not once, not twice, but three times onto it.

The match is thrown out, Ziggler is once again stretchered out and Taker is suspended indefinitely.

Ziggler eventually comes back around Survivor Series time as a full blown face, and begs for UT to be reinstated so he can kick his ***. McMahon denies the request. Ziggler starts winning again, and using the tombstone as an OBVIOUS sign of disrespect.

Heading into the Rumble, Ziggler is in the 30 man match and doing quite well for himself. 29 men have entered so far, and the countdown is on for the 30th entrant. The lights go out, the usualy gong goes off, and the place goes halfway nuts/ halfway boos for the Undertaker. When the lights come back on, Taker is already in the ring (clearly reinstated) and tossing people out. As he goes to toss a bigger wrestler out, his back is to Ziggler who dropkicks Taker in the back, causing Taker to be eliminated. Ziggler goes on to win the event and celebrates his title shot at Wrestlemania, only to be attacked by Taker again as the PPV goes off the air.

Injured, p.o'd and fed up. Ziggler announces the next night on Raw that he is foregoing his chance at the title, and instead, turning in his Royal Rumble win for a shot at the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. This allows the Elimination Chamber match at the February PPV to be for a new #1 contender to be crowned and gives Taker his opponent that he has been destroying for no reason over the past year, for Wrestlemania.

For the next few weeks, Taker keeps cutting promos about how Ziggler has bitten off more than he can chew, and does his spooky taker antics of turning out the lights, having stuff appear in Ziggler's locker room, etc. Meanwhile, wrestlers who fought Undertaker at Wrestlemania previously (i.e. Randy Orton, Kane, HHH, HBK, Mark Henry and anyone else still on the roster) cut promos each week, trying to talk Ziggler out of it. They know he is mad and they know Taker is out of line, but they plead with the young man to live to fight another day. Ziggler insists. Even if he loses, he has to take a stand.

Right after the February PPV, Taker starts becoming even more evil, delving into Ziggler's past by destroying his old stablemate (Swagger), and attacking Vicki (despite her still being a heel...she is still a woman). Taker once again blames this on Ziggler's past actions and that this is his own fault. Ziggler insists on making this a No DQ/No countout fight for WM, much to UT's delight and everyone else's amazement.

At Wrestlemania, Ziggler get his *** kicked. He continues to fight, making valient efforts to beat Taker, but hope is lost. Taker is too good, too powerful and is closing in on finishing off a bloodied Ziggler, when all of a sudden, the lights go off, and here comes Kane. He gets into the ring and starts to fight his brother. Undertaker eventually gets the upperhand and tosses him, but is shocked at the insolence of baby bro. As he turns around, Jake the Snake Roberts is in the ring and snaps off a DDT on Taker. Jake pops back up, grinning his grin, only to have UT do his normal zombie sit up and no sells it, Jake turns, his smile quickly fading and his tossed from the ring as well. As Taker turns aorund again, he sees Henry and Orton jogging to the ring, followed by Edge's music hitting. After Edge's music, Batista's music hits.

From the crowd, King Kong Bundy and Jimmy Snuka hop the barricade, as does A-Train. A cameraman at ringside hops up onto the apron and reveals himself to by Psycho Sid. And now Nash and HHH come out to ringside as well. Then Flair and Shawn Michaels.

As Taker looks around the ring, he realizes that there are all of the wrestlers he has beaten at WM in years past (Big Bossman and Giant Gonzales excluded) Ziggler has rolled out to the apron as the ghosts of Undertaker's past start to enter the ring. He start fighting them off but ultimately there are too many of them and each (that are physically able too) start hitting their signature moves. Taker continues to battle and starts deposing of all of them but turns and eats a superkick from HBK...

He stumbles backwards and walks right into a ZigZag form Dolph. Taker is out cold. The announcers are flipping out over how Taker's past actions have cost HIM his streak as Ziggler pins Undertaker whille all the defeated Superstars look on from ringside. The boys congratulate Ziggler, prop him on their shoulders and carry him off to celebrate his victory.

Taker awakens, broken and beaten. Paul Bearer is now in the ring. He looks at Bearer and then out into the crowd and realizes that everything he was preaching about lack of respect and past actions, came back on him. The crowd starts cheering for him as he drops to one knee into this familiar pose, eyes rolled into the back of his head, his familiar gong hits. He places the urn in the center of the ring (symbolic of an amateur wrestler who retires and leaves his shoes in the ring) and walks off with Bearer, having wrestler his last match.

I do like it Samphin, however it has zero chance of happening only because it forces the WWE to plan something out for over a year when they have trouble with week to week planning. But yes the bringing everyone back who Taker has beaten at WM makes the most sense but like you said I don't think they should ever end the streak as it would do way more harm than good for a financial stance.

I think WM30 should be his last match and he should face Cena giving the fans the last "dream" match since Taker only wrestled Cena once or twice and that was all the way back in 2002/2003 when Cena was the Vanilla Ice heel.

Yes, this would require long term planning, which is hard to do since injuries or any number of other issues can occur. WWE is capable of it, as they pretty much did that this year with Cena/Rock. They kept that issue between the two fairly hot throughout with minimal amount of time spent together between the two of them. But that is few and far between. The fail safe would be for UT to attack many different superstars so that, if for some reason Ziggler's star isn't burning quite as bright, they can run with someone else.

But yeah...it will never happen. Just a bit of fantasy booking on my part.

I actually think the WWE dropped the ball a little bit in The Rock/Cena feud at Survivor Series by having them team up for no apparent reason. They should have had The Rock be the guest ref for a Cena title match at SummerSlam or have Rock and Cena face off on opposite 5 on 5 teams at the Survivor Series, have them tease a staredown but never actually get in the ring and fight each other one on one (have Awesome Truth who weren't in the match attack them so either both Rock & Cena got DQed or counted out, sure it would have pissed off the paying fans but at least they would have seen The Rock return to the ring and wrestle a bit before his exit).

I'll vomit in my mouth if Ziggler beats Punk at the Rumble let alone if Ziggler beats Undertaker at WM. Its a really creative idea but it would probably come across as being really corny the way WWE writes things.

I assume you aren't a Nick Nemeth fan...

It doesn't have to be Dolph, persay. But he fits the criteria of what I would look for in someone ending the streak. He is as close to a blue chip, can't miss superstar going forward, and could stake his reputation on doing something that legends and hall of famers alike, could not. But any of the young talents would fit the mold. WWE is blessed with some quality upper mid card guys right now. Sheamus, Ziggler, Miz, Bryan, Del Rio, etc. Since HHH took over, it seems that the mid-card has been paid more attention too which cna only help the WWE going forward. Cena and Orton are going to be there for a long time still, but the old guar dlike HHH, UT, Kane, and even long standing vets like Mark Henry and Rey Misterio are on their last legs. It's comforting to know that there isn't a dearth of talent behind them.

WWE is expected to announced soon that WM29 will be at MetLife Stadium in NJ (Giants/Jets football stadium). Pretty interesting considering how the weather could potentially be in late March/early April.

Also WM30 is rumored to be held at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, breaking the MSG WM tradition.

I kind of don't like the idea of WM 30 not being in NYC. Every tenth anniversary show should be there IMO. But I can understand where they are coming from. Cowboys stadiuam allows for them to have a MONSTER crowd. MSG kind of limits the gate. But still...

I agree, from a fan's perspective it absolutely should be in MSG. For a business perspective it would be stupid of the WWE to pass on a monster gate for nostalgia.

If the WWE really wanted to have WM30 at MSG, I say go with an old school WM10 type entrance instead of having to block off seats because of a Titantron like they did with WM20.

I'm still very curious to see how the WWE will deal with WM in NJ in March/April though and how the wrestlers will react if it's cold/bad weather. I can't imagine them being too happy about working a 20 minute match if its snowing out.

It's hard to believe that it wouldn't be at a minimum pretty chilly there at nighttime in early April. I doubt it will snow that time of year but a temperature in the 40s probably wouldn't be unheard of. I wonder too how these guys would go out and do matches, essentially in their underwear, in temperatures like that. I imagine they would all have to work pretty fast to keep the cold off of them.

It's going to be cold in mid March/early April at night, the average high temperature in March there is 50 degrees, and I could be wrong but I believe there's a good amount of wind that goes through the stadium, which would make it even cooler. I think it's a mistake to have a live event there at that time but apparently the WWE wanted to have a WM at MetLife Stadium before they have a Superbowl there for "bragging" rights.

We have new WWE Tag Team Champions, Primo and Epico beat Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston tonight. My guess is either the WWE wants to go with the old "anything can happen at any event" to try and spike house shows or either Evan Bourne or Kofi Kingston is going to go on one of those "30 day vacations" (if it's Bourne he might be out of a job as this would be his 2nd or 3rd offense).

EDIT: According to Kingston's twitter account there's going to be a rematch on RAW, so I'd be surprised if Air Boom didn't win the belts back.

I've never heard of belts changing hands at house shows. That's odd. It's kind of weird there would even be a title match vs. just an exhibition.

Oh no it happens about once every few years nowadays. In the 80s and 90s it happened a lot more, probably once every other year or so but nowadays with the WWE having to fill 4 plus hours of "live" TV every week they usually keep the title changes to PPVs or RAW/Smackdown.

Again the main reason for the title switches is to try and get people to come to house shows with the old "you never know when the title can change because any night any wrestler could beat any wrestler" to spike attendance.

Yeah, house shows tend to be fairly standard fair. Working the same match with the same people, night in and night out, but title changes do occur. The Natural Disasters and Money Inc., had a run way back when where they were switching the tag belts on house shows every couple of weeks. I think only a few of them were recognized though. And I remember Bret Hart winning his first world title against Flair at a house show in Canada back in 1992.

Not sure what the future holds for Bourne as there is increasing talk that he is about to get his walking papers. Don't really think that is true, but I guess we will find out. I do like the Colons though so them winning is pretty cool...even if there isn't too many teams for them to go up against currently. It is too bad that Chris Hero got his contract rescinded from the WWE as it would be awesome to see him and Claudio storm the ring and come on to the scene.

Also, I wouldn't expect too many new debuts until possibly after WM.

Just off of memory, in 1992 alone, Money Inc. beat LOD for the tag titles in Feb, lost them to the Disasters in June/July, then won them back at a house show. Also The Mountie beat Bret Hart for the IC title in Jan at a house show and like you said Hart beat Flair for the World title at a house show. In 1993, the Steiners beat Money Inc for the tag titles, HBK beat Jannetty for the IC title. In 1994, The Quebecers beat 1-2-3 Kid & Jannetty for the tag titles and MOM beat the Quebecers for the tag titles, then the next night the Quebecers won them back. HBK & Diesel beat the Headshrinkers for the tag titles and Diesel beat Backlund for the world title.

Then obviously the house show title switches started to die down as RAW was starting to compete to Nitro so those companies wanted to have title switches on live TV to spike the ratings. Of course you'd get the random house show title changes every once and awhile but not as much.

The Bret Hart-Mountie match also happened despite Hart having a legit 103 temperature or something like that. and I forgot about the Diesel-Backlund match...which lasted about 8 seconds.

I have been watching all of the old Royal Rumbles and loving them. 1992 is still my favorite of all time, but that event is hard to screw up. Even the bad ones are pretty good.

I don't think Hart was actually sick, I pretty sure they made up that story to get heat on The Mountie for beating a sick guy and also protecting Hart for losing to The Mountie (back when win/loss records mattered). In real life Hart's contract was coming up and he was close to signing with WCW and Vince got word that Hart was show up with the IC belt (as revenge for Flair showing up in the WWF with the WCW title) so he got the belt off Bret just in case (kind of ironic considering what happened in 1997). Bret ultimately decided to stay in the WWF and the fans got an awesome Piper/Hart IC title match at WM8. I think Bret even talks about it in his book.

As for Diesel/Backlund, yup at MSG. I never understood the rush to get the title off of Backlund so quickly when he was pretty over or at a house show, just wait for the next round of RAW tapings. But I think Vince thought Diesel was going to be his new Hogan based on the crowd reactions he had been getting since the Rumble of that year.

And yes the 92 Rumble is also my favorite. It was the first Rumble I saw live on PPV and remember going nuts watching it because I didn't want Flair to win. Everything about that match was just perfect, from the title being on the line, to the actual star power in that match, to literally sitting on the edge of your seat and not knowing who would win and of course Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's announcing was just legendary.

We won't be seeing Evan Bourne for 60 days. Hence the title change at the house show and why Air Boom got squashed on RAW.

Read a pretty cool/fun idea for the Royal Rumble. Have only two wrestlers left in the ring fighting each other with the countdown for the 30th entry coming out, which is Jericho. Have the two wrestlers in the ring eliminate each other giving Jericho the RR win without him having to actually wrestle anyone. Then Jericho can celebrate like a mad man and it would put good heel heat on him for "winning" the Rumble without doing a single thing.

I actually surprised something like that hasn't happened before yet but I think it would be an absolutely awesome idea for Jericho's new character.

That is a phenomenal suggestion and a great way to get heat on Jericho or someone else.

Nope it's because the guy got himself over WITHOUT the machine backing him. It's probably an F-U to the fans who cheered him without the WWE telling them to. It's completely dumb how they buried Ryder these past few weeks. I mean the guy was one of the few who was consistently over with the crowd and was selling tons of merchandise, I don't get it. Especially since they're de-pushing Ryder in favor of freaking Kane. It's unreal. Watch Ryder return as a heel to attack Cena which would just kill Ryder's character.

Meanwhile Randy Orton is most likely going to win the Royal Rumble which will do zero to help his character or help draw.

It's complete crap. Ryder is actually a good wrestler, very athletic for his size and goes over so well with the crowd. The only way I'll be okay with this is if they use it to somehow spring him into main event type status. Maybe he comes back a bit more serious but still with the same charisma and has a fued with Kane or something after Cena. It seems like a massive screw job.
