I was contemplating Boykin and Thompson. Ultimately decided on the last cornerback available I feel can start right away.
How ever did a guy who us knowledgeable and has no problem being on the board 23 hours a day NOT get in on the GML earlier??? If you remember I asked u about joining a year or two ago, wonder what poor excuse u gave me?
I think it was "who the **** are you?" Actually, I think you already filled the league by the time I checked your message. putz.
WTF, HBO is showing "Busty Coeds vs Lusty Cheerleaders" after Machete? I know what I'm watching from 2:15 to 2:17!!
Well Schister, it's only GIK and myself online, so it looks like that's it for tonight.... although Paul said he was coming back after the fatty left.
This first chick has big jugs so I'm not sure if she's a coed or a busty cheerleader. I hate when the chick's riding the dude and one of them always has a hand covering the crotch region to prevent us from seeing they're not actually doing it. If I'm the dude "actor" I'm thinking-- if no one can see it I should probably slip it in once or twice just for kicks.
that's ok, its expected. Hence why I scheduled over a few days, but you guys are well ahead so it might be done by tomorrow or monday. After the draft is done you guys have two days to do a mini write up on why you drafted the team you did, and why its the better expansion team.
Oh, no they di'nt. She just used the "why do they call you bull?" line made famous by Porky's, only altering 1 word. That deserves a back hand. HBO's attempt to keep up with Skinamax isn't promising. Give me the good ole days of "Hardbodies" when it wasn't so phony. I think this crap's intended for married men whose wives routinely police their history. "Hey honey, I think I'm gonna go make a sammich.".... {pretend rustling in fridge}.... "You don't like crumbs in the bed, so I'll just eat it out here. Go back to bed now."...... fap fap fap.
Ok, I've far exceeded my pre-allotted 2 minute time limit. HBO, you suck! You're lucky you have "Luck" or I'd drop you.
They should rename this crap, "Foreplay Porn". If it weren't for HD I would've turned this boner preventer a while ago. Can I say boner on here? It's not bleeped out.
I look at it this way, standard, HD... in real life if I saw crap on the street I'd look at it as I walk by just to make sure I missed it.
I wish all of those mid 2nd to late 3rd round players weren't about to all be wiped out by schisno. Would love to see some randomness instituted to save a couple of guys I like... er that everyone likes... er yeah...
I tried to make it as realistic as possible, so I started calling up all the GMs on who they would draft in each round. For some reason between all 32 GMs there was this really popular guy that they all seemed to be targeting in every round. They kept screaming his name "F*** OFF", then hang up. I figure one guy to remove isn't realistic enough.
I think you are pronouncing his name incorrectly... his name is Fulkov and he's a russian place kicker that can't miss.
Woah, woah. That's not the territory I sent you to scout, you should have been in Fiji or Samoa watching their punter or Fuukah Offa
At least there's a few WR's and RBs coming up in round 3. b/c Fin-O took Ladarius Green (#97), we should be beginning round 3 one spot earlier on the big board rather than later b/c taking Green means there's 1 player left over. If we're being accurate.
I went through and counted up to 47 players to, it's down to 46 if any player is selected outside of those 46 I take away from the 46 and make them available for Round 3. But I have a hunch Skeet and E will probably take from that pool of 46 hence removing that entire group from the draft pool.
Schis, you have me confused b/c the original post says players 51-94 will be removed prior to Round 3..... but on the big board you show Round 3 beginning at player 98, so I'm trying to make sense of it is all. If it was originally meant to begin at 95 like your OP says, then it should now begin at 94, but if the OP was an error, then I guess that's another story.
It's meant to mean that the highest 44 players remaining would be removed from the pool, because the next highest picks would represent picks 51-94. Don't confuse the draftboard rankings with the actual picks being simulated. Hence out of these 46 Players: 38 David Wilson, RB Virginia Tech 39 Lavonte David, OLB Nebraska 42 Stephon Gilmore, CB South Carolina 44 Kelechi Osemele, OG Iowa State 48 Bobby Wagner, OLB Utah State 50 Leonard Johnson, CB Iowa State 51 Doug Martin, RB Boise State 54 Chase Minnifield, CB Virginia 55 Ronnell Lewis, OLB Oklahoma 56 Kevin Zeitler, OG Wisconsin 58 Sean Spence, OLB Miami (Fla.) 60 Chandler Jones, DE Syracuse 62 Jonathan Massaquoi, OLB Troy 64 Shea McClellin, OLB Boise State 65 Ben Jones, C Georgia 66 Billy Winn, DE Boise State 67 Chris Polk, RB Washington 68 Travis Lewis, OLB Oklahoma 69 George Iloka, FS Boise State 70 Amini Silatolu, OG Midwestern State 71 Nick Toon, WR Wisconsin 72 Trumaine Johnson, CB Montana 73 Antonio Allen, SS South Carolina 74 Juron Criner, WR Arizona 75 Isaiah Pead, RB Cincinnati 76 Bobby Massie, OT Mississippi 77 Cam Johnson, DE Virginia 78 Senio Kelemete, OG Washington 79 Marcus Forston, DT Miami (Fla.) 80 Mitchell Schwartz, OT California 81 DaJohn Harris, DT Southern California 82 Jayron Hosley, CB Virginia Tech 83 Kirk Cousins, QB Michigan State 84 Matt McCants, OT UAB 85 Markelle Martin, FS Oklahoma State 86 Josh Kaddu, OLB Oregon 87 Josh Norman, CB Coastal Carolina 88 Vontaze Burfict, ILB Arizona State 89 Bernard Pierce, RB Temple 90 Ryan Steed, CB Furman 91 Dwight Jones, WR North Carolina 92 Jamell Fleming, CB Oklahoma 93 Brian Quick, WR Appalachian State 94 LaMichael James, RB Oregon 95 Nigel Bradham, OLB Florida State 96 Mike Martin, DT Michigan If 2 players are selected from that list, then the remaining 44 will be removed from the draft pool as if they were drafted between picks #51-94 If either skeet or E goes outside past 96th ranked Mike Martin, then that means Mike Martin is available for Round 3 and later. If both E and skeet go outside #96, then both Nigel Bradham and Mike Martin remain for Round 3.
I'm still a little confused. If BigE has pick #95 in the 3rd round, then shouldn't that mean our big board begins with the player ranked #95. Right?-- 94 picks to this point, 94 players taken? However, FinO took the 97th rated player, which would mean there's another guy from the first 94 still available, no? So wouldn't this mean we pick from players rated 94+ rather than 95+? While I'm thinking about it, for future reference, to make it even more realistic by accounting for players dropping, I think it would be a good tweak to take all the players left on the board (the ones who are about to be wiped out before our 3rd round pick) and put them in a randomizer and select 6-8 names to carry over to the 3rd round draft board. 44 people being removed? That's a lot of players, so we should be allotting for a larger margin of error IMO b/c an actual NFL draft isn't going to feature only the subsequent 44 players being drafted. There's too many players falling or being overdrafted for that to ever happen. (And then repeat it with every subsequent round, only reduce the number of players being randomized if the pool of players carried over is lessened. If for instance only 24 players are carried over, then only randomize 3-5 players.) Look at it so far--- I drafted Dontari Poe in the 2nd round; by many big boards he'd not be available. Look how far Brandon Thompson slid. Then there's FinO taking Green ahead of time (which won't be the only time we do that this draft). I'm just not a fan of having no access to "falling" players unless we've overdrated one first. And if you reference the player ratings on nfldraftscout, it gives a projected round for each player. Currently, they have 21 players rated as borderline 2nd/3rd rounders. They have 22 players rated as 3rd rounders. So in a 32 team draft that's up to 21 different players they feel might carry over to round 3. Now obviously not all 21 of them will ever do so, which is why I felt randomizing 6-8 players would be more realistic.
You also have to think about the guys that were already mocked by Charlie Casserly where he himself may have overrated some players to be taken in the first round, could potential go in the late second or anywhere in the third. Both Casserly and the NFLDraftscout rankings are purely hypothetical rankings based on human assumption and errors. Now I could go though a sample of 2-3 previous draft rankings and compare them to try and find a margin of error. However I'm not going to over think, or go to the trouble of creating an algorithm to encompass and factor percentile errors based on where people would be selected. Those Draft rankings and mocks can change dramatically based on what happens at the combine and pro days, so the system that we have now that doesn't seem overly complicated, or "accurate" is as perfect a system one can have to try and simulate a 34 pick by 7 round draft based on what a human, or collective of humans predicting players potential can be. I know there are players that are enticing that won't be there, but that again is a human judgement that I'm not also going to add into the equation. So I will not be going through creating some kind of equation or algorithm to try and factor so many numerous outcomes.
Well we took different players at #33/#34. Brandon Weeden, Brock Osweiler, Mohammed Sanu, Nick Perry, and Alan Branch were taken off the list as two picks. Whatever schisno does.. someone will complain or question it. I think it's going as smooth as it can for a first run, IMO.
I still think it'd be fun to toss all the remaining players after every round into a randomizer and carry 3 of them into the next round. That let's me feel like I just found 5 bucks in a pair of jeans. So ef all you mother effers.
This ****** feels for ya, brobeans. But if it's any consolation, it's one of those things you don't realize how much you actually missed it until you have it..... like gik's sex life.
Take this into account Todd. We had 4 separate Expansion drafts running simultameously with one another. 4 Different timelines, some of you took the same players hence have alternative versions of them, some are happy to be on your team, some of you aren't. E drafted Peyton Manning, he could be healthy or not healthy, so you have another two alternative timelines based off the 4 we already created. Also take into account the #33/34 picks as well because those play into the error factor on what is available, what was overdrafted/undrafted. Next remember I threw all four different timelines into one draft, hence creating a system where the fabric of time collapsed in on itself because teams baring similar properties in terms of same players will have different team mates. Also that from this point each timeline will have teams picking players only they would be able to draft at that particular spot. I want you to think about that Todd, everyone in this game exists on a different plane and there is no mathematic equation that I can conjure it that will accurately predict the error in the draft order to give you what you're seeking. I am a man. Former programmer and forever lazy bum.
